Of course it’s overshadowed. I know that there are people who love battle mode (me too), but when ya play Mario kart, it’s for the racing, not the battling. There wasn’t even a battle mode pass with a few extra battle stages and modes. (Then again, since it got changed from the Wii U version, I guess it kinda is).

I’m interested, how were you able to view the game’s maps and all the collision on it? Is there a tutorial you watched to do it or something? I’ve always wanted to try this in other games I play but I have no idea how to do it.

I think the way the shock glitch works if you hit the wall fast enough is a known glitch in doom (1993). Basically, the game checks if your position next frame intersects anything and if it does, you don’t move. When you’re smaller and going fast enough, there is a gap between your current position and your next one. If the wall falls in this gap, you end up on the other side.

I’m don’t know Mario kart as well as most in the community but would getting a perfectly timed shock cancel the boost after the feather? If so then the drift wouldn’t be necessary meaning it’s more repeatable. Idk just thought I’d throw it out there

When you have any type of boost in races or battles and get shocked when you have the shock you lose the rest of the boost.
