How to: Hotwire a car

If you lose your keys or need to start your vehicle. Almost always the accessory wire is blue. In order to drive a vehicle away you need to leave your power, acc, and engine power spliced together. I am not responsible for damage to your car. Attempt this at your own risk. this does not defeat the steering wheel lock so don't try to steal a car

dld8823 I don't have the vehicle any more.... in this particular truck there were 4 screws and it would split in half. Most vehicles are the same.

I'm not sure bro. I don't have my truck anymore, you could touch it to your power wire and see what happens. I don't recall having that wire.

There's a bundle of wires in your steering column, coming out of the ignition switch

Then what wires do you use to start it?
