    Every day I get so many emails and comments asking why you can’t locate the music I use or find it using Shazam. I purchase music licenses for almost all the music you hear in my videos. I buy them them from various royalty-free production music sites and most of the time they don’t list the performer because it’s music made only for film productions with an audio watermark throughout the entire track, unless you purchase the single-use license for $50-100 per track. I use a lot of opera so often I’ll reference the opera but I won’t be able to direct you to a recording of that specific performance that you could stream or buy on iTunes or Spotify. Hope that clears things up and thank you for appreciating quality music.

    Kylie, loved this and guido was so funny popping into the scene and his handyman mode 😂 can you please do one on fashion and how people dress? I’ve always loved how Italians dress and their eye for effortless chic! It’s one country where I literally look at the way people dress and ask myself how they do it?! With so much beauty 360 degrees, I think it’s in their blood. Thank you 🥰

    I distinctly remember going to the market in Mexico, one time. After mustering up enough courage to try out my Spanish, and feeling very proud of myself, I asked a man running one of the stands, "Tienes Juevos?" Which translates, Do you have eggs? Well, little did I know, in Mexico, I was basically asking the man "do you have balls" It simply prompted a lot of laughter from the people around us, but it could have been worse. I should have said "Hay juevos?", which means "Are there eggs?" So, do be careful with your phrases, in a foreign country!

      It's one thing to study, but the best way to learn is to speak any language is to actually speak it with someone, preferably a native speaker.

    • @glleon80517

      @@dottiebaker6623 So everyone says, but there aren’t any Italian speakers where I live and tutors are really expensive.

    • @dottiebaker6623
      @dottiebaker6623 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@glleon80517 That certainly makes it harder. I wonder if there's a zoom way to connect with a native Italian speaker who wants to improve their English? I have no idea, but it sounds like something that might exist....? Good luck!

    I am Romanian and weirdly enough I always understood Italian way before I first went there in 2004. Many don't know but Romanian it's a Latin language so I guess that's why almost every Romanian understands Italian even without being in Italy or learning in school. I speak Romanian, Italian, Spanish, French and because of that I fully understand Portuguese even if I never learned in school or anywhere. I am a master of the Latin languages basically :) At this stage Italian is my second language and when I speak lots of Italians don't even realise that I am not Italian (and I kinda love that), many think that I am from Sardinia :)
    I cannot wait to be back in Italy next month, Italy will always be the most beautiful country in the world for me! Great video, many will find it very useful, and yes, I love your accent when you speak Italian, with a bit of English flavour on it :)
    P.S - I am craving some fresh pasta right now :)
    Much love, see you next time and happy Easter! xx

    Thank you! I absolutely love your "learn Italian " videos. The only one I have not yet watched was the dating one (since I have been married for 23 years LOL). Because of you Kylie I was able to make my first reservation by phone in Italian from the U.S. to a small trattoria in Oltrarno (Florence)- a family owned place that is not touristy and the owners speak very little Italian. I only said "excuse me" in English once, the rest was all Italian and I was able to understand when she confirmed the date and included the day of the week to make sure she understood the date properly (July 28th Venerdi, this coming summer). Like others I would love a video on fashion and shopping for clothes, or at the train station...anything really that a tourist could encounter in Italy. I love how you understand the perspective of an English speaking person but have such a great grasp on Italian. Thank you!

    Ciao Kylie. Avevo guardato un video di te a Firenze quasi 3 anni fa ->"HOW TO ORDER COFFEE IN ITALY". Avevo pensato ->"Anche io, voglio imparare l'Italiano". Essendo francese, ero un po tristo di non poter parlare Italiano quando andavo a Trieste. Avevo comprato un libro d'italiano e guardavo dei video su TH-cam quasi ogni giorno. Adesso posso parlare e quando guardo i tuoi vidio di te parlando con Guido in Italiano, capisco quasi tutto. E un po grazie a te e la tua video (parlando Italiano in un Caffé a Firenze). Ti mando un bacio a te e la tua famiglia. Grazie per tutti i tuoi video, mi fanno viaggiare :-)

    Thank you so much for this video! I watched it on the airplane again just to make sure I was up on everything. I went to a cafe in Genova and there was no one behind the counter. A random man stood up from a table on the patio and started walking over to me and said "dimmi." No amount of Italian language lessons would have prepared me for this. Tell you what, sir? Who are you 😭
    But thanks to you I figured out he must be the owner and was asking for my order. The experience went super smoothly and without a hitch! Grazie mille tesoro 🙌

    I was doing pretty good with my Italian but it's been so long and no-one to help maintain the conversation!!! But I love the refresher course with you, and Guido, that some of it is coming back to me. Thanks for another wonderful video amidst that gorgeous background. Happy Easter to everyone.

    Kylie, you're so gorgeous! And the recommendations and phrases are super useful (planning to be in Italy in a week or so). Not sure if I'm in love with Italian or with you... Either way, great channel, keep it up! 🙂

    Thank you, Kylie. This is so very useful for us. My Husband and I are coming to Italy (the Veneto) and renting part of a castle for a month in the Summer. We are learning Italian online, but having you explain here how and why to use these important expressions in order to interact at local markets is wonderful for us. Grazie ancora.
