    I keep seeing complaints about the contrast on this projector but from your footage it looks plenty black? I don't get it.

    I thought it had a earc port but a guess u dont really need it ur only ever sending the image to the projector

    Is it possible to support DOLBY ATMOS? I don't have an eARC so I don't think so.
    I was wondering if DD+ ATMOS is also supported?

      You can get atmos if you run through a compatible atmos receiver first yes, but if youre running audio via HDMI from projector back to sound bar or receiver you’ll need earc for atmos yes

    is it better than the Formovie projector? I'm torn between the two.

      I have not tested the Formovie, but Epson is very reliable and has a good reputation for making projectors for a long long time. Formovie is new and no telling how long it will last or if you have issues how hard it would be to get parts. Hope you like and sub to the channel!

      I got the Formovie Theater.
      If you whant good Support i would go for the Epson.
      I´m from the Netherlands, in case the Formovie needs some repair.... i need to Ship the Unit to Spain at my own cost.
      but the picture of the Formovie Theater is just stunning.
      The should have made the fans a little more quieter on the Formovie..

    How are the black levels?

    • @thedaingeon
      @thedaingeon  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not bad actually, and the rest of the color spectrum is easy to calibrate. This really has great potential and works well with some ambient light. Did you buy the LS800? Hope you like and sub to the channel!

    How is the black levels?

    • @thedaingeon
      @thedaingeon  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good black levels, but not the best color pop as other UST projectors like the Vava Chroma or BenQ V7050i
