Never shoot clipping toward yur ac unit especially when it's running. You just added to things to do list ( cleaning the ac unit). Great little mower!!!!
I just got the 3 in 1 today. Assembly wasn't too bad; one thing: the instructions indicate installing the wheels before installing the handles...but do the opposite, install the wheels last. First use went well - started right up on first pull, but it smokes like a son of a bitch upon start. The engine purrs like a kitten. We'll see how long it lasts. Spark plug was already installed.
Well its been 3 months since you wrote this but did you find there was too much oil causing it to smoke as well? If so did you find the drain plug or just tip it.
@@ctallant525 I didn't change anything. The smoke upon start is still there, but it's just one quick puff and then it's over. It starts on the first pull, every time. The only quibble I have is the rear safety flapper. It's very thin. When you pull the mower to back up, it goes under the mower as normal, but then it stays underneath when you move forward again; so you have to pick up the mower to get it to be in the correct position. It's gotten chewed up by the blade two times.
I just ordered the 2 in 1 for $162.00 at Walmart, it’s coming tomorrow. I liked the orange color too, and it seems to have a strong motor from your videos.

I had some problem with the back of the mud flap on that you install can you tell me what the millimeters are and what socks it needs if it uses american or foreign? Do you have to do anything with the spark plug like install it or anything like that before you put the oil and gas in?
Just took mine out yesterday, it chewed up the back plastic guard because of a cheap clip holding it broke and allowed it under the mower. But other then that, it ran really well. I had some pretty thick grass thanks to all the rain , but it just chewed right through it. I have the 170cc 2-in-1.
Some people just need to take a step back, this product is adequate.. but cheap. It is not for commercial grade use so if that is what you need why are you spending 200.00 bucks on a mass produced mower made in China??? I have had plenty of cheap mowers.. my last one lasted about 6 yrs.. I live on untamed 14 acres in South Texas so ya'll can never understand the punishment I have to put them through.. lol. That being said I did have 1 problem so far.. other than the manual being horrible .. apparently mine already had some oil in it because I put 14oz in it and its over full and smoking something fierce. That being said its an easy fix but the manual states a drain plug.. I find no drain plug.. does anyone know if this is a tip over and pour it out situation or am I missing the drain plug somehow?
This mower has so much bad vibration from the motor that goes up to your hands on the handle, you have to have a thick pair of gloves for the vibration to keep you from having to go to the doctor the next day with nerve problems in your hands and wrist!
Used my Yardmax twice. Third time I mowed half the yard and it started hesitating. I cleaned excess grass buildup from the undercarriage and it won't start now. Called Customer Service. They said it could be a bad spark plug. There IS NOTHING IN THE MANUAL on spark plugs...even the location of the thing. FORGET about checking it or replacing it. I've let it sit for two hours on a relatively cool day in case it was flooded. STILL won't start. Customer Service says I must take my brand new mower to a service center. REALLY? Seriously thinking I messed up...want to sell it and take the hit...then buy another electric one. THEY ALWAYS work. Gas engine is just too cantankerous for a non-grease monkey. I would avoid this thing.

Yes, those wheels need to go on after the handles. I learned the hard way - it was very annoying.

mine works well but like he did tall grass popped off the side discharge chute and i ran over bracket that holds door up shattered it'

Its a 4 cycle use 10w30 in the crank case

Make sure your blade is screwed on tight. Remember to disconnect the spark plug before you go messing around with the blade.
What oil dose it use
SAE 30. I used SAE 10w 30 in mine.
