Pure joy to listen to J S Bach performed by the J S Bach foundation. To play Bach as good as faultless on a baroque horn borders on the impossible. Not to forget the technical brilliance of the soprano and bass. And all this performed by the whole group at the highest level of musicality. I am in awe.

Today I discovered this cantata. I absolutely love Bach, but I've never listened to his cantata's. But wow, this is beautiful! The opening especially brings me in tears. This recording is also just perfect. Bravo!
There are only a few cantatas left that I haven't heard somewhere or other at some time or other, but this one was unfamiliar to me. What a wonderful treasure to encounter on the internet!
That "horn-trumpet" (I don't know exactly what it is 😂) is absolutely fabulous, very difficult obviously, and he plays very clear. All together is a very good version 👍
