I love to see the American Dream told by a humble man with gratitude for life, family and country. This series is the best car series i have ever seen on TH-cam. Thanks, Evan.
I agree with you about how if you drive a 71 - 73 Mustang you won't ever want to drive anything else. I have a 71 Mach 1 I'm restoring, that I bought in 1981. I love driving my Mach, it glides around curves and rides so smooth it's almost like flying.

The rare part on the 1971 429 Cobrajet powered blue coupe at 13:12 is the white steering wheel. I've been into vintage Mustangs for 40 years and have never seen one before.

This collection is amazing, wow, well done guys. Thankyou for building the collection, to the owner. Thankyou for this video showing these magnificent specimens. Absolutely beautiful. 👌
Wow, that outro hits hard. Dad brought home a '65 GT-clone convertible the month after I turned two back in 1988, and it stayed in the family up until his untimely passing this last fall. It's here in my garage now, bittersweetly. All I can think about seeing these videos (and learning one of my Ford clubs has a visit planned to George's collection) is "man, I wish I could share this with my dad"...he would absolutely faint seeing a garage packed to the rafters with some of his favorite FoMoCo sheetmetal.
George, Evan, I love the talk about your Mothers at the end of the video. Mine is 91 years old now and still has a great zest for life. Her summer ride is a 1991 white Thunderbird Super Coupe with blue leather interior and a manual transmission in it. A few weeks ago she was complaining that her left knee was a little sore making it harder to drive the T Bird. So she parked it the garage and got a mid 2000 Mustang Convertible with an automatic trans. I will be joining her and my brother tommorow night at an annual large classic car gathering in a Southern Alberta Canadian City. It's like going back in time to real life American Graffiti with hundreds of cool rides cruising around literally everywhere. Gotta love our Mothers! Oh and that is an incredible collection George thanks again for sharing it with us.
These pony's couldn't be with a better care taker and that collection is over the top. Thank you guys for the grand tour, best damn video I've seen on UTUBE in a while !
Absolutely the most stunning collection of gorgeous classic Mustangs I think I have ever seen. So beautiful and perfect examples of Ford muscle . Great video. Thanks for sharing !
Fantastic collection, on par with the Gary Thomas collection, so many extraordinary, exemplary cars. My favorite Mustang is still the '69 Sportsroof models (Boss, Mach, or standard). But I agree that the '71 Boss I owned was a wonderful driving car. My favorite year Shelby is the '67 model - fantastic looks, loved my Lime Gold GT500! Good to see Mark in front of the camera instead of in the back.
The Legendary Mustangs imo. 1969/70 Boss 302s were the fastest Trans-Am cars of that era. Sam Posey did an article on all the old Trans-Am cars and stated, nothing beat the Mustangs on the straights...especially at the end of them. A 1970 Boss 302 could easily hit 8000 rpm by simply disconnecting the 6150 rpm rev-limiter and was the only Mustang(identical to that grabber blue) that ever beat my 1964.5 'D' code Pony(modified to about what a GT350R was making. About 325hp)......290hp my arse😅. If it wasn't for those crappy Firestone tires, Ford would've of won the Trans-Am championship in '69 too. His message and the Christmas tree are the only thing better than the collection. Wow. Still have my mom. On my way there now thanks Mr Conrad and thanks Evan. Super message to close this show out.
Awesome collection. I loved the comments about the Boss 351 being the best driver of the three bosses. I saw an unrestored, driven 351 at a car show a while back. It was for sale but still out of my price range. The nicks, a bit of surface rust, iron showing thru the Ford blue engine paint - all make a hard argument against restoration.
I can’t believe my freshman year 1980 Back in San Francisco the older kids on my block had some cool Muscle cars next store was 1970 boss 302 across the street was gold 1971 Mach1 and down the street was black 1978 Pontiac Firebird 😮
Remember going with my older brother to check out a 1971 429 SCJ in about 1980. It was all original with factory drag pack with Detroit locker 4.11. He test drove it and found the clutch needed to be replaced and did not buy it. He still regrets it, they were asking $2,000 for it. He owned a number of Boss 302’s over the years, still has one, also remember him turning down a couple 351 bosses, regrets them too.
My older brother sold his 1971 Mach 1 SCJ drag pack 4 speed Detroit locker car in or close to 1980. I think he was also asking 2 grand for it. He offered it to me for 1800 dollars and I didn't buy it. Sure wish I would have though. I drove it in my high school grad parade in 1975.

I would really love to hear a big bore short stroke BBF screaming through that Qjet. There is nothing like the sound of a V8 breathing through a perfectly tuned Qjet, the Thermoquad or other spread bores are close and I am willing to accept a suitable mean sounding spread bore carb open induction system with minimal silencers with a relatively quiet exhaust that doesn't drown out the induction sound.
I worked for a Ford dealer from 1968 thru 1976, drove every performance vehicle. I believe the Boss 351 to be the most satisfying..Boss 302? temperamental with poor low speed drivability, 428 Cobra jets, great seat of the pants feel, Boss 429 underwhelming street performance.
Like in the other video (Part 1 I believe) in this series, it is falsely stated that Mach 1s didn’t come with rear slats, a rear deck spoiler or a chin spoiler. They did! These were dealer options and could easily be ordered and installed. Check the records. As a Mach 1 survivor owner I feel like I need to set the record straight, as these guys literally know everything about all the other models but get the 1969 Mach 1 info wrong somehow.
