- Sohan is a unique candy from Persian.
This recipe for Sohan is very special. It is a buttery brittle studded with pistachios and flavored heavily with saffron - whose earthy aroma and rich color is unmistakably beautiful.
Sohan candy is deliciously addictive - the perfect sweet to eat with tea and all you need is:
(1 cup) caster sugar
(½ tsp) saffron
(½ cup) tahini - (Tahini is a paste made from sesame seeds)
(½ cup) pistachios
