I just got these today, the colours are STUNNING🥰😍
I will say though, there seems to be a lot of white mixed in these colours (because they're pastels) so they're not your typical watercolours.
I have also noticed some insoluble grainy particles in my paints as well. it hasn't affected the quality of the paints or the colour either. just an fyi 💕✨
Thanks so much. This comes back in stock in a week. I will enjoy Terrains as I wait for it. I always let the hype drop, so the price reflects that, and buy late. I have world-class pigments, but I love the Prima sets. Good value when they drop to 20-2 bucks ;-)

I saw the vintage one online and I adored the colors but wanted to check them out in video form, to compare with all the other sets (I don't have any yet). Beautiful! I just broke down and got this one after looking at it for some time. I love it! There is a "plain black" in the Classics set.

I agree with you on the smoothness of the paints. They look way smoother than the ones I have, even in dry cake form without water. I heard a few people complain about the earlier ones being gritty/grainy but I usually don't notice this problem unless I don't mix enough water with the paints.
They had a black in one of their earlier palettes, the Classics palette (artphilosophy.com/watercolor-confections/watercolor-confections-the-classics) but I don't know if it is as dark as Charcoal! That one was so dark!! Perfectly dark.
