I remember my cousin buying this back in 94 when I was 9. I would watch him play it thinking how realistic and scary it was lol
I never played this game but saw the trailer from a demo disk, named "250 Games." Most of it was shareware. This is way back in 1995. Still, remember the ICE MC soundtrack.
There was a hidden copy of the full registered version of Rise of the Triad on that disk if you knew where to look.
Dude. Awesome. Thank you. As a kid, dying by the hand of this particular monster only happened to me once that I can remember, and it felt so epic...
Dude it took me months to find the name
Of this game
I clocked this Game when I
6 was so proud of myself
Bought this in a bargain bin for 3GBP. Loved it as was the only 3D game that worked on my Digital 486SX... Never did finish it. Thanks for the upload!
wow i actually found a video about this game. i can't believe how obscure this one is O___O
Hey Mike Phillips, As a kid I had a demo CD from a magazine with this game. There you could see all the great FMV sequences. I was always interested in how the gameplay is, but there was hardly any material.
HoFPG Hall of First Person Games i had the full game actually :D it played....just abotu as you'd expect. the only problem i had was some of the enemies had a very VERY specific pixel and weapon combo that you had to use to kill them, and sometimes it just didn't work. also the 3 keys you had to collect were a nightmare despite what walkthroughs will tell you. good memories! thanks for the video brought a smile to my face without a doubt :D
Yes, the mechanics of some of the games from that time were not absolutely exactly coordinated 😂. But we still had fun with them. I am very happy to hear that this video has brought you some memories 😉✌
Ah, Maabus. Now things are beginning to make sense. More on this later.
Awesome! I vaguely could remember that I have seen a demo of this game on some demoCD or trailer on another game.. Have never seen actual gameplay before and always wandered what it would be!
This game has a very interesting concept.
And the first person view with the enginee sounds and the sounds of the rocks and leaves are interesting. How did they know about drones back then?
Drones existed then. Modern UAV’s debuted in the mid 70s
I have a full copy of this game
Anyone brought here from Ross' Game Dungeon?
3:37 - you look more like a really bad actor to me...
18:49 - OMG, this guy isn't even trying. Even when apocalypse is about to occur, he still looks and sounds like if he's about to fall asleep.
