I remember when I was little I used to have the three pack with Deer Hunt, Pheasant Hunt and Turkey Hunt Challenge. Out of all of the games, Deer Hunt Challenge had the most depth to it, with Turkey Hunt and Pheasant Hunt Challenge having progressively less depth and content. I could not shoot those pheasants for the life of me because I was, like, 5 so my hand eye coordination with the mouse couldnt line up with such tiny ass targets. So, admittedly, in frustration, I pointed my gun at the dog, who proceeded to sit down, as if he knew it was going to happen - pulled the trigger... BAM! "Game Over - You shot your dog." My 5 year old autistic brain thought that was so funny that the only time I pulled out Pheasant Hunt Challenge thereafter was to get amusement from the fact they ACTUALLY put that in the game. And that's where my experience with Pheasant Hunt Challenge on the PC ends... I'm sure I turned out fine... right?😅

Mouse works in menu but not in game, any ideas? I tried emulating mouses, using touch pad and nothing works, it is like it's picking up a controller, but I had none plugged in.

Maaaaan, this game is a lost relic! I've been a fan of Doctor Who for many years, although I'm more a James Bond fan than a Who fan. But this game made me fall in love with the series even more! A game that, despite being difficult, is fun, with the notable enemies from the series, and the interactive cutscene videos of Anthony Ainley's Master. And even though the series was canceled in '89, they still made it in 1995 (and later released in 1997) as a prequel to the 1996 film! Is the most purest juice of science fiction. There is no so fantastic, and well detailed and told series as Doctor Who!

Was war denn das?!? ... hat mich jetzt bei Minute 1:54 wirklich der spontan aufploppende Ladebildschirm mehr erschreckt als das eigentliche Spiel, ist es wahr? 🤣 Schön auch im Anschluss die Demonstration eines "fatalen Handshots" - sowas sieht man in modernen Videospielen viel zu selten. Engine ist übrigens echt die vom FPS Creator.

Ooo this is made with FPS Creator I think, that old (terrible) engine. Pretty sure I recognize some of the assets from that. Either that or 3D Game Maker by Focus Multimedia

Acknex-Engine! Noch keine 5 Sekunden gesehen und gleich erkannt. Ob Conitec Datensysteme wissen, für welchen Käs ihre Engine herhalten musste? 😅 Und die überall platzierte Sand-Textur kommt mir merkwürdig vertraut vor. Bin am überlegen, ob die standardmäßig beim Editor inklusive war oder ob ich die iwann mal aus irgendeinem anderen Shooter importiert hatte. Außerdem irre geil, wie das realistisch flackernde Licht der kaum vorhandenen Fackeln aussieht - dachte erst, das sei Stroboskoplicht. 😆

I bought this game on ebay a while ago, but Ive never seen how it ends. Guess I should boot it up again and find out. These controls feel a lot like Robot City, which came out around the same time. Also: I looked into the developers behind this. Seemed everything else they sold was just "interactive books" on cd-rom
