Hello, I am the wife here. I edited this video and kept the comments in because I thought it added humor. I can see from the naked eye how this comes across to some people. Him and I banter back and forth all the time but this particular day I had 2 Mikes Hard Lemonades and I NEVER partake because I don't like the taste but Mikes is all sugar so I was livin' a little. Him "Patronizing" me is really him toying with me because I wasn't 100% myself. He knew how much I needed to let loose and when I did we were both laughing at me for feeling great, he was happy for me. He was teasing me in this video for a lack of words knowing what I just explained. I edit all of these videos, I added the "system" comments because to me it added humor, something different videos are lacking sometimes. Him and I have been together for 24 years now, he does all of the cooking , he is a den leader in cub scouts, we have been to parent counseling when one of our kiddos was struggling so we would learn how to better help that child, he helps me around the house and he encourages me to drop the mom hat from time to time and go out with friends. I say this to show anyone feeling sorry for me that it isn't what it seems, we make a good team, he is a great dad and husband. Him and I do not air on the side of sensitivity so I can see how this video would look to some people without the background of us. If you happen to watch any of our other videos it will shine a better light on him/us. This insanely long comment is because a few people have mentioned he is belittling me, I have deleted those comments because he deserves better and to be seen better. This was just an unfortunate side effect to an otherwise great video (IMO). Happy camping!
I would suggest a 18 volt fridge ( IceCo makes some nice ones without spending a fortune) a 500w solar generator and minimum of 100W solar panel. It will allow you to expand your camping locations and the fridge will make life easier without soggy food. Fridge draws about 45 w in deep freeze mode but in eco fridge mode it runs only 33w intermittently to maintain temp, so a 100w panel will run it easy. I personally have a 500w Goal Zero and a 200w panel. Runs everything I have with plenty of power to spare. The ICECO VL60 Dual Zone Portable Refrigerator changed the game for me by being able to have a fridge, but still be able to make ice for cold drinks and make ice pops for the kids. Love the misting idea! Im gonna steal that one LOL
@@thestegmonsters You have to check the operating watts. You can run one but you may need more panels. My panel says 200w but in reality it pulls about 160w in full sun. Ive looked for portable 12v AC units but I never found anything I trust, but theoretically it should work LOL. Let us know if you do make it work!
@Reality19 Thank you! This is the sink we have and love www.homedepot.com/p/Lifetime-4-ft-Adjustable-Height-Fold-in-Half-Fish-Cleaning-Camping-Table-280560/306597213
This is our cooler. We have been really happy with it but the downside is that it does not have wheels. www.cabelas.com/shop/en/cabelas-polar-cap-equalizer-60-quart-cooler
It would be very helpful if you would just provide all the links to the products you are highlighting or at least time stamps for each product. Thanks!
We will work on different links to put in the description, if you have something you are interested in let us know and we will share the link. As far as the time stamps, we have that option selected for TH-cam to create them, not sure how TH-cam decides to create the stamps. Sorry.
I hate that people act like not being miserable is a bad thing while camping. It's hard work setting all that stuff up. You should be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor rather than simply struggling to survive. That's not everybody's cup of fun 😅
Haha it isn't too bad, most of the stuff has a place in the garage. It takes about an hour and a half to unpack everything and be on the 2nd load of laundry.
Haha thank you! This is our AC: www.homedepot.com/p/Toshiba-10-000-BTU-7-000-BTU-DOE-115-Volt-WiFi-Portable-Air-Conditioner-with-Dehumidifier-Mode-and-Remote-for-up-to-300-sf-RAC-PD1013CWRU/314620248
Past the AC we use Be Cool Solutions for the tarps and a misting system. All of this together really knocks down the temp during the day when the sun is at its hottest.
That is a Lifetime table that we actually picked up off of Facebook Marketplace for $40 and regularly sells for $160. I just checked the lifetime website and they don't seem to have that exact model available.
Not sure on the model number, I will have to check that when I am home but here is a link I found selling the table we have. The table has an adjustable height with the highest being 42" www.displays2go.com/P-15992/Adjustable-Height-Folding-Tables-That-Have-A-Carrying-Handle?gclid=Cj0KCQjwj7CZBhDHARIsAPPWv3feD1gfSDZ3uwlStXHVSJbEF06bYTGqZJAE92r4UGz23WjpFv3MBvQaAoCLEALw_wcB
We always camp with showers however you are right, I knew we were missing something in our video. So if we don't shower at the bathhouse then we do 1 of 2 things depending on how gross we feel. We have these soap towelettes that just need water to foam and you don't have to rinse. I use it in my hair and I can even shave my legs using these wipes; I will comment with a link to it. The second thing is we wear our bathing suits and use our water hose from the sink to shower.
Scrubzz Disposable No Rinse Bathing Wipes - All-in-1 Single Use Shower Wipes, Simply Dampen, Lather, and Dry Without Shampoo or Rinsing (Unscented, 25 Count (Pack of 3)) a.co/d/3q3k68T
They don't allow dogs swimming at the beach area but he can swim away from it. We actually have never tried to get him in the water, we tried with a swimming pool and he would have none of that lol. Which works in our favor because the wet dog smell in the tent wouldn't be favorable haha.

Do you camp with AC too? We are looking into the solar game and wondered if it would keep the AC on continuous.
We haven't put much thought into a fridge but maybe we will.

It just feels better when camping hahaha
We would love links to items and more detail on how things work. Going on my first ever glamp trip in a yurt.
How exciting! Which items are you interested in? I will get links and answer any questions you have ☺️

We enjoy glamping and being comfortable. We have since upgraded to a popup 😊
Awesome but wow, I'd hate to be the one to unpack all that STUFF!
Haha it isn't too bad, most of the stuff has a place in the garage. It takes about an hour and a half to unpack everything and be on the 2nd load of laundry.
What ac system are y'all using? Y'all are my camping goals 😅

Depends on what state you are in
@phulwhite5815 True. A lot of this would not be necessary if we didn't live in Texas. Lol
May I ask what and where did you get that long white table? Not the sink one, the long one.
That is a Lifetime table that we actually picked up off of Facebook Marketplace for $40 and regularly sells for $160. I just checked the lifetime website and they don't seem to have that exact model available.
@@thestegmonsters Thanks anyway. Looks like it would make a great serving table. We are also campers ( Glampers?) in Texas!!
@@thestegmonsters May I still ask the model number in case I come across one? How high is it? Hip?

Crazy you guys be glamping but you ain’t got a solar power and power bank set up
That's because we always camp at state parks with power BUT we are looking into that just haven't made the leap.
is your doggie alow to swim too???

He’s a bit too critical of her too often.
It's not what it appears to be but I can understand what people see in this video.
