I love that you keep repeating that you don't need all the equipment to start out with. My husband and I love camping. But we're young and only been married 3 and a half years with a 2 year old and baby number 2 on the way so we only have the basics. Tent, air mattress, camp chairs, and a 2 burner Colman stove, coolers. And we make it work and still really enjoy our time. Given we definitely don't go for more than 4 or 5 days. It's nice to think there is definitely still time to invest in all the luxury equipment.
Awe that’s so awesome! Yes I definitely think less is more always!! We just bought a travel trailer in February after 12 years of tent camping and we are absolutely loving it! Happy Camping friend🥰
Awesome ok! I still haven’t organized any of it, our house is a wreck with camping stuff everywhere so I think that would be a good video to do, thanks for that idea 🥰
Love this video. I can't wait to start camping....my bf and I might be late this yr buying a tent. Told him I want a 20 person tent...he looked at me crazy. I told him you will thank me with all the room we will have to walk around and out stuff in the tent esp chairs if there's times that it will rain. We can sit in the tent with chairs and not on bloe up beds...I can't wait. And all the stuff u have I plan on doing majority of that. (Glamping) 🤣 which is my camping way lol...I love this video
If it's just my husband and me we don't take as much stuff, it's pretty much what you said you took on your first trip. If we have a bunch of other people going we take a tent to go over the picnic tablle and extra table ect...
Awe yeah of course! Our first years camping where all we had was a tent, a Coleman stove, a cooler and a lantern were some of our best years. You may find you like doing it more simple too over time. I think with camping it really just comes down to preference because we are all so different and like different things. Thank you for your sweet comment!
I’m the same way. I just started camping last year, and have the simplest camp set up, but every time I go out I make a list of things that is a must have and I purchase those items my next time out. I’m saving up for a similar tent that she has, but in the meantime the back of my SUV works for now. I just love weekend camping and getting out.
Look forward to your camping videos all year. Loved the food prep one. And can't wait to sit down and finish watching this one.. hoping there will be a clothes and toiletries video again.
Awe that means so much! I didn’t do a clothes and toiletries video this year, I just didn’t have time, I’m so sorry 😭. But it means so much that you enjoy my videos💕💕💕
@@LorraineRoseWilliams That kitchen set up - i have the Coleman's with a sink After almost 40 yrs using it i need to replace the sink. 😖 It's setup on my patio with the stansport stove/oven combo and the smoker/grill. Use it year round.☺ You not have a bathroom setup? All our camp gear fit in the trunk & backseat. So funny to watch people walk back and forth to watch what we pulled out & set up next lol The last thing i did after the tent was up (i use the nail stakes) was put in artificial flowers. I hated running into stakes barefoot. Had my working dog & a cat with us too. We traveled for abt a yr around the country with the set-up.
Nice setup things that serv dual purpose it's a lot of things to remember solar Lucy lites are nice and a readylight with a.ber pods to keep mosquitoes and moths away
Love your kitchen set up. I have a few things in my cart to do just that. I was skeptical about a fridge but now I'm convinced we need one. We do plan to cam about 3 times a year for years to come. Do you have a link for your canopy? It looks very strong. We had to return the one we boutique because it was a bit flimsy. Thank you!
I feel like if I need an electricity hookup, I might as well get a popup or 5th wheel, and skip the tent camping style entirely. My wife likes the tiki poles for light at night (keeps bugs away too) and table torches, and battery lanterns, and solar lights that stick in the ground for the entry way and perimeter. But the biggest issue is how to keep the phones charged up. We'll charge them in the car but we have to drive around to do that, to avoid risking draining the battery and needing a jump start. That's the biggest pain about camping, is keeping the cell phones charged.
Awe thank you so much! I’ll try to find the link and re post it, my sink faucet came with the sink off Amazon you just have to search for it, I can try and add that link as well. I’ll do it tomorrow 🥰
Your camping setup amazes me every time I see it! You guys do a really good job with all the organizing and stuff! (I didn't mind the background noise at all, makes a video more realistic and relatable😊) That's a bummer you got sick, it was probably still somewhat enjoyable though. Glad you're doing better!
@@LorraineRoseWilliams aww you are most welcome! I'm so glad!💕 I should be thanking you though, your videos always motivate, encourage, and bless me. When I'm feeling down your videos remind me to just keep going and be thankful for the little things in life!

Love your camping ideas Lorainne! I especially like the bedding set up and that you created a mini kitchen! Wow!

That's a nice springbar tent
This is definitely glamping

Power banks. They're cheap so you can buy several. Charge them before you leave. They hold charge pretty well.
I got a cot 2 years ago and there’s no going back. I’m 50 and my husband is 59. The ground sleeping days are over for us.
How come your tent is not listed?
Such an awesome simple set up!Do have kids? Does anybody go with you
Camping at the lake is like having waterfront property without the taxes 😂
Hi where is that camp site located.. love it. Plus no bears.. lol
Nice house you got there... did I miss the part about camping 🤔
Where are you camping? It’s a lovely site.
Is this a campsite or an apartment??? 😊
I love it. The link for the canopy Light doesn’t work :(

Where is this pup friendly campground please?
Where are you camping at?
is that kodiak canvas 10 x 14 ?
TWO WEEKS!!!!!!
Mama did you say two weeks oh my God! I am so going to die 🥺😩😢😭
It’s too bad campground info is a secret! Bummer! Does anyone else have any ideas? Otherwise the rest is useful info as I am just starting out.
😮😮😮
OMG, that setup is so basic. How do you even survive?
😂
This is not camping
I got headache when was watching your video as you were yepping too much and I gave up just for a short watch
You leave your food out? We don't have bears but raccoons /🦨 would tear Thu your kitchen. It doesn't have a sealed floor
