  • Ready Seal is incredibly easy to use. To prove that we gave Ready Seal stain and sealer to a couple young people who had no experience working with stains. They were given a gallon of Ready Seal, a handful of tools and 20 minutes to figure it out. Spoiler. They didn't need the entire 20 minutes.

I wonder why posting the color wasn't a priority?

I watched: th-cam.com/video/r8AqcH_S4nE/w-d-xo.html. It Features Dark walnut and it goes on reddish but dries brown. I think this video is also featuring Dark Walnut on the right and Pecan on the left. Sucks that we have to play the guessing game. If you want the reddish look I think you might need to mix it with pecan or natural cedar 1part Dark walnut 1/4 part pecan or natural cedar.

This guy using Dark Walnut: th-cam.com/video/HlNt-CqkYF4/w-d-xo.html. This guy using "maybe" Pecan: th-cam.com/video/ZTVncxOVdXA/w-d-xo.html. In conclusion, the left panel is likely Pecan. The right panel is Dark Walnut. Dark walnut will dry brown and not stay red. If you want it to be red just mix it with pecan or natural Cedar.

@@gilsanchez5006 Don't order the samples. They suck. Especially, if the wood you use is slightly moist. Someone said it's pecan.

@@gilsanchez5006 I actually used Pecan and mixed it 80% Pecan Ready Seal and 20% Jarrah Brown Cabot Australian Timber Oil. The Pecan Ready Seal has penetrating qualities which is good for the wood but the Jarrah Brown from Cabot is not as penetrating but has a lot of "tint". If you decide to only go with Pecan I suggest you use the Thompson Seal Clear to trap the color.

just came back to say it's really frustrating and pointless to make an "information video" and not include the name of products used and the type of lumber. We learned this in school, be descriptive.
