Firstly let me thank you for this video. Do I use a soaker or a drip hose around my house? Can I bury the soaker/drip hose and do I have to be concerned about breakage of the hose? There are several schools of thought regarding this but I must say I very much like what you are advising but I thought I would check with you. One last thing ... will the soaker/ drip hose clog up being underground. I would be most grateful for any advice you can offer me. Blessings, Clinton

This review is for Retro Foam Corporate as a warning to consumers. The worst home improvement contracting experience I have ever had in 40+yrs. of ownership was when I hired Retro Foam. The local franchise couldn't do anything right, nor did they follow my instructions for a good outcome. After they dithered about, I appealed to corporate, they sent out Ken E., he didn't get it either, instead of handling the rework properly by finding the problems and correcting them he sprayed over top of the poorly applied foam. Not to code, not to industry standard. My further appeals to corporate were met with nothing but a big run-around and gaslighting by Eric G. This leaves me with a home that did not pass inspection. My bank did claw back their fee, an easy out for RF, but not what I wanted at all. I wanted a professional job that would pass inspection. I pay gladly and promptly for professional work and have an excellent relationship with my contractors. Apparently, I wanted too much from Retro Foam. The only contractor I could find to do the remediation wants a fortune to fix what they did. Please do not make the mistake I did.

How do you fix a hardwood floor that does not have a sub-floor when the boards are perpendicular to a wood beam and the floor has a bend in it? The bend has resulted in cracked boards. Do I cut a relief groove and cover it with a threshold that is secured only in the center to allow the floor to expand and contract?

When is it too late to install? My Oak trees were originally planted in 2002.

Good tip. I'm frugal so I'm using a hand sprayer. My picket fence is basically black. I'm scrubbing with a nylon bristle brush on a pole. I'm reapplying until I get the color to hold a good stain. The wood is over 20 years old this is the last try before totally replacing it.

NO do not use bleach. Use a cleaner maybe add a 1/8 - 1/4 cup of bleach to a gallon

Purchases RB 400 last spring …used it 3 times throughout the summer ….pulled it out to use a couple of weeks ago ….no start …sent it for repair ….total $ 175.00 still wont run …local Ace Hardware giving me the run around …done with Sthil and I have a garage full of it …dang shame!…BTW what good is the warranty?
