Metal Gear Solid 2 - Zako Survival All Fights & All Secrets

In this video I show all there is to show about the "Zako Survival" Variety VR Missions in MGS2. Zako Survival is a special game mode where you first fight three waves of enemies and a giant soldier boss at the end. It can be played as Raiden, Snake and MGS1 Snake. The difficulty depends on the character (Raiden = Easy, Snake = Normal, MGS1 Snake = Hard, basically). I was certainly a little rusty and my goal was to show every little detail there is to show so don't expect perfect gameplay.
These specific VR missions are the most interesting ones in the game in my opinion, there are many hidden things that I'm sure many are unaware of so I thought I'd dedicate a video specifically for this. The level of attention to detail that's found even in side content like this is incredible. It's things like this why MGS2 still remains as my favorite game of all-time and why I prefer older games over newer ones. You just don't see this much care and effort put into most games nowadays. What you usually get instead are rushed, half-complete games loaded with filler content, paid DLC and micro-transactions.

If you don't know what this is, this is a special game mode found in MGS2's VR missions. It's Variety Level 7 for Snake and Raiden and Variety Level 3 for MGS1 Snake. There's plenty of hidden details in this mode so I thought I'd show all there is to show.

You are a genuine savior to me. MGS2 is my favorite game of all time, but I have never been able to beat the last Zako Survival. I have no idea why, but I became fixated on using the coolant when the tengus were on the box, instead of in the middle. I'm finally able to get all of the achievements because of you. Be nice if the uniform works in the first 3 parts. The uniform does not work on Alert mode.
