You can't change a Secret Group's privacy settings once you've set it up. I discovered this when I set up a Secret Group with information I didn't want people to see until a 'launch'. I then tried to change the settings and realised I couldn't! It does make sense - I guess you can't have a group which people have joined on the understand it's secret only to then make it public!

If you're going to buy ads yes, you can target the audience by zip code, town, state, county, almost anything. In some situations you can put in an address and advertise within a one-mile radius too.

I just added the text to the question - it's not an official setting. People can still submit the form without filling out the required boxes, but I don't accept them.
Unfortunately there is no completely automated way to do it. There is a Google Chrome Extension that will do it, but you still have to open the member requests. chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/group-leads-facebook-grou/fflgpaejocnobejfanekjilflogejjch?hl=en-US I haven't used it - I tend to be suspicious of many Google Chrome Extensions - so I just have them copied and pasted into a spreadsheet and they get added to my CRM.

It won't come up in search until you have members, but you don't have members - what the heck, right? 😀 The great thing about the internet is we can connect with others that share our interests all over the world. I'd start by searching to see if there are groups that already exist for your subject - you might find a great one and not even need yours! Then you can search the internet for other places people are hanging out. Search Reddit, or do a Google search for "YOUR SUBJECT forum." Then you can connect with people and invite them to your group.

You can create one on a smartphone. In the Facebook App, tap the hamburger menu on the lower right (the 3 lines), then tap Groups, then Create at the top!

Announcements come first in a Group, as you said. Then it shows the posts with the most engagement, so if one of your posts is getting lots of engagement it will show again in the feed. The reason is because people don't see all the announcements unless they click See All.

Hi. I created a facebook page, true the page I created a group, I did all the settings, but after that I can't find the editing tools for the group, I can't accept anyone in the group.
To confirm, it is your group? You are an Admin? If so, then you should be able to click More under the cover photo on a computer in your group to access the settings. If it isn't there then it may not be your group, or there could be a bug of some sort.

It sounds like you have all you need, and yes if you created the group you are the Admin. If people have to request to join, then you'll see their requests under Manage Requests.

Facebook Groups don't come with revenue. They are testing something where people can pay to join your Facebook Group, but there is no regular revenue program for Group owners.
It's a hassle because you have to remove each member first, then you can delete it. You can also archive it which is much faster. Here's how to do both: facebook.com/help/174988392554409
The channel name is about being efficient and not wasting time on social media. The videos are all the length they need to be to answer the question - I'd hate to be teaching or explaining something and then stop midway through and say, "Uh-oh, we're out of time!" 😆

You can't anymore - too many people were getting added to groups they didn't want to be part of so Facebook changed how it worked.

You can't remove the button, but if the group is private and they share it, only other group members will be able to see what they shared.

In the upper left corner of the group (when looking at it on a computer) you can choose who you interact as.

There is a place in your Settings where you can turn on whether or not comments need to be approved.

You have to manually copy and paste them into your email program - it's not ideal. But it can be a great way to grow your email list.

You need to change it to a Public group then in your group settings.

Hi. I created a facebook page, true the page I created a group, I did all the settings, but after that I can't find the editing tools for the group, I can't accept anyone in the group.
To confirm, it is your group? You are an Admin?
If so, then you should be able to click More under the cover photo on a computer in your group to access the settings.
If it isn't there then it may not be your group, or there could be a bug of some sort.

Yes, it is my group, I created true my page, after I did all the settings (description, questions, rules...) i hit the save and that was it. At the 3 dots i have: invite, manage requests, unpin, create new group. if i created the group i will be the admin by default or i need to do something?
It sounds like you have all you need, and yes if you created the group you are the Admin.
If people have to request to join, then you'll see their requests under Manage Requests.

Badges are added to groups and pages once they reach a certain threshold automatically - so Facebook will add them when you are eligible! 😀

You have to add 1 more person in the group. Add someone you trust, a friend or a family member?

Facebook Groups don't come with revenue. They are testing something where people can pay to join your Facebook Group, but there is no regular revenue program for Group owners.

How to delete my own Group in facebook
It's a hassle because you have to remove each member first, then you can delete it. You can also archive it which is much faster.
