I am a member of a large, private group whose front page for non members just shows “about” and 3 items under group activity. It doesn’t show admin name or rules or anything until joining. How do I do that? I just created a group and on the front page before joining it says I’m the admin (which I’d prefer to hide until people are members), shows location, rules, shows private, visible… how do I have the non member page be simple? How do I have them agree to the rules when submitting request to join?
Hey there! Try looking at the group from a different Facebook account. It may show you that you're admin because it's your account. Also doublecheck to make sure you made it private: facebook.com/help/167970719931213
It's basically a way to move your Facebook followers further down your marketing funnel and to get them more invested in your brand. You essentially weed out the Facebook followers who don't really care about your offerings by seeing who is actively joining your Facebook Group to get valuable information related to your business.
If you watch from the 6:48 mark on, it should help answer this question! The idea is that these people are further down your sales pipeline than your general Facebook page followers, and therefore they're more likely to buy into whatever you're selling!

I am wanting to start a group that is not for profit in the money sense. I am wanting to start a group that is based off of personal experiences and personal growth in life. I am not tech savvy and I need some help. I was drawn to your video and how appropriate with the name of your company is there anyway to contact your company for further assistance with helping me create this group. Maybe I can share my story to shed some light on my intentions of this group.

Hmm. So create a FB page from your personal profile. Then create a group from that Page? Didn’t know you could do that. I saw someone mention that you make that FB page your FB group admin. I did that for now.
Hi, I have a FB page for our RC Club and have about 900 followers. I want to set up a group that is specific to a large Swap meet. Do I create the group[ under our existing FB Page or do I set up a new FB page for my event and then create the group under that?
You could really do either! It just depends if you want them to be connected in that way. If you already have a following on your page, it may be easier to grow and bring attention to the group if it's attached to your page.

How many followers do I need to make a group
You should be able to create a Group regardless of follower count!
