fan pages are important because they allow you to create ads for your content and track analytics, groups are important for creating your tribe/community and sharing knowledge

I just watched not less than 8 videos about making a facebook group. I want to make a hobbyist group about DIY solar power systems. This obviously has nothing to do with a business page or being your own boss. That being said this video was fantastic. It was well put together, intriguing, kept my ADHD attention for the entire 5 1/2 minutes (I watch everything in 2X) and I will be looking up your FB group and looking into some of your other videos. Great job, you are a natural and I see you hitting 1M subs in the future.

Hey Sunny! Had a question about Facebook groups and pages... Which one should we use or create?
This is great! I host a travel group for mothers on Facebook and I am excited to incorporate some of these strategies. Thank you for sharing!
Very valid points. I would like to add some from my experiences as well.
I run fbs largest community to find "cofounders on sweat equity".
1: Keep the group open to everyone to join but only approve relevant posts.
2: Interact with your audience by commenting, sending messages how can you help them solve their problems, any inputs they have for my community, thank them for reporting spam, etc.
3: Welcome new members with interactive welcome messages rather than generic ones.
4: Understand your audience and create posts related to that. So I create motivational posts since a lot of our members are early stage startups and we all know how difficult it is in the start.
5: Try to help community members as much as you can without any motive. Believe me it will pay off someday.

Great video! As always! Thank you Sunny 🌞 Quick note on changing Facebook Privacy Settings for Groups 🔴 Facebook prevents you from making more changes for 28 days. I'd made mine Private originally - then made it Public after I tried this (otherwise great!) tip - but then I couldn't change it back for what felt like forever... So I'd say - start with Public when you set up your group (even if you intend for it to be Private later) so that you can still make your Privacy Setting change whenever you want... 😅

Hi Sunny. I know your busy so I hope you or someone will be able to answer this, but I really have been wanting to start a Facebook group for a specific niche because there are NOOO groups for it. I check Facebook from time to time hoping to join a group for support. I can’t find any. So I thought, what if *I* start one myself!? But I don’t have all the answers to help people and that makes me nervous. Also, a huge purpose of my business is to teach my niche. Is that how I would make money? I’m really more interested now. Hi Sunny, I'm trying to join a group with my business page. When trying to join I can join with one of my pages but not with the page I want to join with. Did you find a solution? I hope to hear from you :)
I have 2 business pages (candles & kettle corn). I cannot post under both pages in my group? why? i only can see 1 business page option (kettle corn). Which i couldnt see that one last week either but now it shows up? i have another profile & made it an admin for the candle page. but i still cannot post as the candle page under the other profile, on the group page ? the secondary profile is over a year old, & the candle page was created 2 yrs ago. any thoughts on that? i have sent our invites to the candle page to get my likes up? anything else i need to do? this is very frustrating.
just FYI, I am the admin (the only one) i have checked my setting & i do allow business pages to join. I have 2 vendors currently that do not have the option to post as their business pages, but have that option on other group pages? what is the problem?
