As an Ethiopian, I am obviously biased when I say he is the greatest all around athlete I have ever seen in six decades of watching these events. I have participated in NCAA cross country and track events. I have run five marathons and a couple of NYC marathons. As an athlete he runs within himself, regardless of who is around him. He has a unique ability to gauge the race and dictate the outcome. He is my G.O.A.T.
I’m an athlete from Eritrea (not a runner but a cyclist) and this man has always been one of my top inspiration for what could be achieved if one believes and works hard enough!
