    Thanks for sharing the progress of your antinet. I remember the video from last year where you were just starting out and Scott interviewed you. Progress makes perfect. 🙂

    Question: How do you complete a bib card from your reading if you can't go back and pick up the previous book (like from a library book that you don't own)? Doesn't the note need to be all inclusive of the thought(s) first? How do you do it? Are you talking about taking a bib note, then returning to the book/source, re-reading it and then deciding to distill that note and create into a permanent note? I didn't hear this on the video. Did I miss something/anything?

    Thanks! Did you change your numbering using '/' to using '.' characters (e.g. 42226/0/0 to 42226.0.0) because the dots are easier to distinguish from numbers and letters?

      Yes, I changed it a few months ago out of preference :] doesn't matter much though xD

    Question: how would you process other books of Aurelius to your system? Or if there are multiple authors with the same surname, like Dumas Younger and Older? By year and with the first and second initials if need be?
    I assume you'd process less fiction to your Antinet, even though there are some good things to extract from Count of Monte Cristo, for example - justification of revenge, debt slavery, redemption, etc.

    • @nicolasgatien7283
      @nicolasgatien7283  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep! For multiple sources with the same last name, I write down the year in which they were published as well :D
      For fiction, I have not read much fiction, but that which I have - sometimes I'll extract a cool quote, or summarize a part of the story on a card if it relates to something else that I am thinking about.

    Also a second question: do you feel that adding the date when you wrote your card helps you or is it too early to tell?

    • @nicolasgatien7283
      @nicolasgatien7283  ปีที่แล้ว

      Help, I'm not sure - but I do enjoy having the exact date that I wrote a card. More of a novelty thing in my opinion - though combined with journaling, I can see precisely what was happening in my life when I wrote a card. (if I don't remember off the top of my head)

    My problem is that sometimes I extract three notes from the same page number. So many notes :'B

    But do you like astrology?

      J.P. Morgan said millionaires don’t do astrology but billionaires do. I think you would find astrology to be something you like but idk
