See: 'Why Writing by Hand Is Better for Memory and Learning', published yesterday (2/21/2024) in the Scientific American.
So... When you go back and make a main card from the ex-ref, how do you note that in index? Add a number to the red ex-ref? something else?
You say, “go find my righting section”, but how does one do this? How did you ‘find it’?
I’m impressed by the lack of rant about obsidian bubblegraph boys
Another fantastic video! I'm excited for the writing incubator!

Why do you add a dot before each entry?
Vaultz does not sell the type of card containers you have in the video. Do you have any suggestions? I called their contact number, and they do not answer.

Thank you for your quick reply. Have you purchased any containers, lately. I searched Etsy and EBay to no avail? Thanks again.
Could we see a video of you installing "Infinite Jest" David Foster Wallace into your Zettelkasten?
Yes, give me some LSD and nineteen years, and I'll get back to you.

😂
I totally forgot there was actually a system for organizing index card notes. Thank you. I have a stack of notecards rn that I've been meaning to transcribe into a notebook but apparently, I may not have to. Thank you for sharing :)
Scott where did you get the physical boxes that hold your Antinet?
It's a secret 😎
They look like these to me, maybe he got them off ebay?
Vaultz Locking 4x6 Index Card File Cabinet, Two Drawer, Black - VZ01395
He uses Vaultz
A writing ink-ubator.
Haha literally. I love it.
😊😊 thanks😊😊
I want to say thank you for popularising this. When I first saw Obsidian I was really impressed, but as I got into it it seemed like all I wrote there was just my personal wikipedia, which wasn't personalised enough to have any value for my brain... just a dumping ground for extracts. And a constant feeling of anxiety because each note I wrote seemed to fade into the void so fast. Felt very futile.
With the analogue way, I can see the notes accumulate physically, and I know each not personally. I'm also relaxed because there's not much I can really """optimise""" and plug in a bunch of things that make this useless thing (personal wiki) prettier.
Obsidian users are professional procrastinators, nothing else.
Beard … good.
Info … good.
Video … freaking amazing!
Amazing!!! Thanks🤗
Hey Scott, are you still offering 1 on 1 virtual antinet coaching?
