  • Welcome to my first video on my TH-cam channel! In this episode, I'm taking you on a journey through the beautiful and ever-changing month of March here in Switzerland, as we embrace a slow and peaceful lifestyle in the countryside.
    As winter fades away and spring starts to trickle in, I'm excited to show you how we're living a slow and simple life, surrounded by the calmness of nature. Join me as I explore the joys of gardening for the very first time, and take a peaceful walk through the stunning countryside that surrounds us.
    I believe in the beauty of slow living, and I'm excited to share my experiences of living in harmony with nature with you. Thank you so much for watching!

    I love these videos. I have watched them all and I am now in the process of rewatching. They resonate with me as somehow who is perhaps overly hardworking and anxious, and my desire to change my mindset to live a more slow, intentional life. Thank you for sharing a slice of your life and thought. You are inspiring people 😊

      That is so nice to read, thank you for your nice comment! I also used to be very hardworking, strict and feeling extremely anxious. To the point that I knew that i needed to change something in order to no fall apart. So I have not always lived this kind of life but I love it now and am so much happier, relaxter and less anxious ☺ I wish you a happy rest of the day!

    I absolutely loved this video! 🤩 It was so refreshing to see the beauty of Swiss country life and to learn about growing vegetables in the garden 🍅🥦🥕 The stunning landscape shots made me feel like I was right there experiencing it all myself 🌄😍 Thank you for sharing this wonderful content, I can't wait to see more! 👏👍

    How blessed you are to live in such beauty! I really love your videos. It is so discouraging how even in the rural farming areas of the States the farmers resort to chemical fertilizers. So unhealthy. This is a joy to watch.😊

      That is truly sad to hear! Switzerland isn't perfect either but organic farming is becoming more and more popular and it is pretty strict about pesticides and fertilizers. Thank you for your nice comment. Glad you enjoyed the video ☺☺

    This was really interesting to watch! I especially resonated with the part where you explained your reasimg behind moving to a more rural place…♥️ how was the adjustment?

    • @swisssimpleton
      @swisssimpleton  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be honest, the adjustment went quite smooth for me because I was aware of the things that were going to change. Without being sure that you truly want to make that change and what the change eintails it could be rather difficult (at first) :)

      🤩🤩 Thank you for checking out the channel!! Yeah finding a own garden can be quite tricky, especially in a land like Switzerland 😅 But moving to a more rural place makes it a lot easier ☺🌻

      @@swisssimpleton yes definately.. But let's be honest.. It's kinda difficult to find somethibg perfect suitable and for a god price in Switzerland.. Did u move on purpose to more rural place??

    • @swisssimpleton
      @swisssimpleton  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DominikaDonchinka You are absolutely right.. Switzerland is so expensive 😅 Yes we moved to the countryside on purpose. For the same price that we payed for an average appartment in the suburbs of Zürich we now rent a house with a garden in a rural area☺

    Did you end up varnishing the raised beds? For protection against rain, freezing etc
    P.s.: in Poland we smell cow dung as well 😂

    • @swisssimpleton
      @swisssimpleton  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes! Ended up varnishing the raised beds and it worked perfectly ☺ And good to know, Switzerland is not the only place where this is the case hahaha 😅
