I actually really like how different it looks. That's a huge selling point to me. Too many cars look alike nowadays
yup its really unique. even the two tone paint gives it character. it has a big presence on the road and you know immediatly thats a Toyota Crown.
I like how you can sit a little higher than a typical Sedan
We just purchased the Platinum and we are very happy with the drive and ride. Sitting up 4 to 5 inches higher than the Camera is a plus for visibility.
10:24 to 11:38 you hit every single point for at least 4 important details i wanted to know.
I appreciate your impartial review. You distinguish yourself from other reviewers who increasingly seem to act as brand cheerleaders.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video, I have the platinum model because of the entry model was a concern for highway driving
great features in this car. everything i wanted
That would sell well in the UK, so i hope it comes over here. That's nice
Seems like the only reason to upgrade to the Platinum is for the Hybrid MAX. Otherwise, the Limited seems equally well equipped.
Correct
I love driving my 2024 Platinum, but there are a lot of software issues with the car. None of the ones I've come across compromise the safety or drivability of the car, but they do affect the comfort of driving the car day-in and day-out.
Can you frost the roof like in the Venza?
I have one , and it gets 30 combined for sure on regular gas.
I really like how you do these videos. Just discovered your channel. Love car reviews. Hate agendas. Seems like straight up informative. Thanks for that.
Very fair comments
..Toyota needs to tune up the interior
Beautiful car but what is infuriating is that they force subscription services on you which you don't want and it sounds like you have to pay to get them removed.
You have to pay to keep them.
Can you shut off auto stop and start?
It's a hybrid.
One of my neighbors has one here in my subdivision. It’s actually pretty nice looking in person on the outside but like most Toyotas and Hondas they are pretty generic on the inside even some Lexus are pretty generic, standard dashboard layout. Nothing special. Nice car though. I just wonder how many they will sell.🤷🏽♂️ update: Toyota is already discounting 2023 and 2024 Toyota crowns. They aren’t selling! Lol.
About time!
At this price point, I think I'd pass on the Crown and consider the Lexus ES-350 Ultra Luxury Trim. 💲💰
If you live in Ontario, expect to pay an additional 200-300 dollars a month ontop of what you pay for insurance now. I was looking at ES300H and the insurance cost was what pushed me back to the Toyota. Plus resale for Toyota is still better than Lexus...
The shocking disappointment for me is the absence of sunglasses holder/storage.
Beautiful vehicle but cramped interior for driver im 5'11 and 225lbs . Gets great MPG for its size
I'm 6' and 270 lbs and I fit in the car just fine. The back seat is a little cramped, but all sedans are like that for me. Still I spent significant time in the back seat during a cross-country trip and it was no problem.
I appreciate that they did something different...but boy is this a strange vehicle. I doubt that this will sell well
I've seen quite a few
This will be the new 2025 Lexus Es 350. It will look better and the interior will be top notch materials.
I think for average functions and technology in this class, it is overpriced. You're buying a toyota if that means anything.
What Toyota executives smoking? You can get a Range Rover Evoque , GLC 300, NX for the Crown price
And have issues out the wazoo!😆
Crown much better
Very nice car but overpriced.
The proportions of this version of the Crown is very awkward. I agree that the interior is austere, but then theres the Lexus ES. The Crown SUV thats going to replace the Venza in the US is much more attractive.
AMC Eagle 😂
Sure it's a petty car and such but..................terrible gas mileage for a hybrid, especially when the Camry gets 50-51. Also, not going to pay close to $60K (after tax and dealer add-ons) for one. To each their own though, I can see why some will love it, but not me unless I was given this for free lol.
You aren't comparing the same hybrid powertrain as the Camry. The Crown has that powertrain available as well if your concern is fuel economy. The powertrain shown in this video is intended for better performance (although fuel economy is still pretty good given the performance).
Some cars look better in real life than they do in photos and video. The Crown is just the opposite. I've seen these things and they are really ugly.
I like the crown sedan❤ it looks different.
they look so good in real life
