- In this full #review I will explain all the specs of the 2024 #Toyota #Crown #Platinum then take it for a test drive. The hybrid sedan has raised suspension and more it offers more plush materials inside. The Platinum trim gets a more powerful Hybrid Max setup with a turbocharged 340-hp hybrid powertrain and a 5.1-second that will lead to some quirks which will bring out the pros and cons.

One detail overlooked is these are all built in Japan.

The Crown is seriously awesome. Amazing features really. Id rather get this over the Lexus...newer technology. The two tone paint is growing on me. unique and recognizable immediatly...you know thats a Crown.
They are nice vehicles 👍
Toyota Camry has more room, costs $10K less, and gets same mileage......sucker
@@chadhaire1711less room. More generic. 4 inches lower hip position. Heated rear seats are absent.
@@djplonghead5403 MORE ROOM..try sitting in both Goober....OMG no heated rear seats wow...I dont sit back there dont give a shit.

Crown:
Front head room 38.2 in.
Front leg room 42.1 in.
Front shoulder room 57.1 in.
Front hip room 55.2 in.
Camry:
Front head room 38.3 in.
Front leg room 42.1 in.
Front shoulder room 57.7 in.
Front hip room 55.4 in.
They're functionally identical, your personal opinion is irrelevant
So what’s the big problem again?
It’s in the drive part of the review, you have to watch the review 👍
Awesome Crown 😊🎉 thanks for this video
Your welcome 👍
Love it minus the two tone paint .
They are nice
Lexus sedan option at this price point is the ES. Lexus will give you more luxury with older drive trains. Only AWD option is the ES 250 with a NA 4-cylinder engine. 300h is FWD only with the NA 4-cyl + older hybrid setup. 350 has a V6 but is FWD only. Crown platinum has a more modern engine, adaptive suspension, and newer hybrid system. And this is what you are paying extra for. Updated version of the ES will be Lexus-type of crown. ES assembly is being moved back to Japan where all Crowns are assembled.
Thanks for your review 😉
Cant wait for the Lexus es 350 version of this car 2025 🔥
I agree
So, is Toyota Crown selling well? Where I am (central Pennsylvania) I haven’t seen any on the road. It’s now end of May, 2024, when did the car come out?
I have seen them on the road (Florida) and they are selling but it definitely a unique vehicle 👍
Nice looking car , no slide roof;
They are nice
I was sold on the Lexus IS 500 until I saw the Crown Platinum. Not a fan of RWD and not a fan of having to refuel every 220 miles for city driving.
The crown is a nice vehicle 👍
Ì like the Crown sedan 😂 i just dont want the two tone paint.
It is different with the two tone 👍
Didn’t know you can rap 2:38 😂
It’s the style of the Crown 😂
USA needs Toyota Century
They are nice 👍
I want one but it’s $55 thou
I agree it’s Lexus money
The trunk is too small; folding it creates a small space.
It’s avg size but would be nice to have more space 👍
Why people want to break the sound barrier?! Speed kills!
What are you talking about 🤷♂️ it’s a Toyota
Exterior is sick but that interior is the TYPICAL CHEAP Tacoma interior 👎🏻
They left room for a refresh 👍
That grille is like the one on the Sienna. I don't like it at all. The two-tone style is over the top.
After I reviewed the vehicle I thought it looked cool but for long term I don’t see it 👍
Camry thousands cheaper, has more room, and same mpg......what is the point
This has more powerful options 👍
@@HawkeyeRides For $12 K more? LOL no thanks.........and it gets worse...drove the 2025 Camry least week no more V-6 or 4 cylinder offered, only hybrids......NO traditional Toyota Camry owner who is expecting 300,000 miles is going to touch a hybrid......they just lost 40% of their customers....losing Tundra customers big time too....the Koreans are going to pick up the slack. All this crap started when they killed the FJ Cruiser...very bad idea....it is going down since.
Crown is special…
@@HawkeyeRides at $10k more it should not need options.
@@djplonghead5403 For "special ed" buyers with no sense. Buy a Lexus ES 350 for a few bucks more
Got one, very disappointing!!! Slow! brakes so so. Not a sport car not a suv, not a luxury car, not much!!!
It’s not everyone’s fav 👍
