All About Developmental Disabilities

Eyesome Productions produced this video for All About Developmental Disabilities (AADD) to show the strength and power behind an often neglected community in the United States.
Based out of Atlanta, AADD (formerly Atlanta Alliance on Developmental Disabilities) was founded in 1956 and has grown from a local, grassroots organization created by a group of concerned parents, to become the State of Georgia's premiere provider of needed services, broad-based education, and effective advocacy for children, adults, and families living with developmental disabilities.

relly?? where was these when i wsas in GA and needing serices they encuorage yu to ''advocate'' for yourself but when you do and they dont agree with you they will not support you, i wss in cobb dougls county services and they did so muc cra to me it was unbeliveable i in aother state now i have job a house and daily support and i am MY OWN BOSS ;-) but no ga is some of the worse i bee throuh and seen in my ow eyes and life

I did this work for almost 5 years up until not too long ago. Anyone working in this field sees the funding is dwindling away if not GONE. All the money our government hands out to illegals and unambitious able-bodied workers should be going to our elderly and DD folks. Where is the fight for them? Why do we fight for gays and minority groups, but not those who are unable to help themselves? America is going bye bye, folks...
