Jessica Haywood, aunt of Sadie, talks about the early years of her friendship with Ashley Haywood

Jessica Haywood serves on the board of the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation and is currently managing the clinical trial data-sharing initiative. Jessica is also an active member of the Carolyn Smith Foundation board, which supports nonprofits in Tennessee and beyond.
Jessica manages social media in her free time for her niece, Sadie, who has Sanfilippo Syndrome. Together, they - along with Sadie's mom Ashley - spread awareness and joy and show over half a million followers what it’s like living with a terminal rare disease.
