FULL EPISODE: WAGYU Drath Family Farms | Rare Steakhouse

In this episode of Wisconsin Foodie, Luke travels to Odensburg, WI to explore Wagyu beef cattle at Drath Family Farm. In 2013 the Drath family turned their 3rd generation dairy farm into a 100% Wagyu Beef operation. Wagyu beef is some of the highest quality in the world and their cattle’s DNA can be traced back to Japan. After spending time of the farm, we head into the city and meet up with Chef Todd Leech of Rare Steakhouse and get a lesson on the proper way to prepare Wagyu steak.

Most definitely domestic Waygu is so much better than Japanese A5 is way to rich. Glad I found this as most domestic waygu I get is from Missouri and I live in Wisconsin.

No. The farm/animals are a front for some other 3 party supplier...most likely over seas. The website is very clever...most people would believe the wagyu sold on this site is raised on the farm, but read the website verbiage closely, it always deflects from the source of the meat you buy, not even one mention of the actual meat source, just pages of google search results about wagyu. The idiot that made this video showed the proof when he opened the freezer full of 100% wagyu and a field full of 0-10% (at the most) Waygu animals...still wondering if he is really that stupid or involved in the scam?
