Just found your channel Bob. I shouldn't have to worry about crowds next year. I start off my A.T. thru hike and v-logg from Springer Mt. on February 15th, so its the snow and ice that will be my "crowds". lol. I just subscribed and will check out more of your videos. Take care, be safe and keep the videos coming.

Hello Kamper. Yes, indeed, you’ll have plenty of ice and snow to enhance your trek through the Smokies! Good luck on your AT challenge - looking forward to the vlog. Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍🏻

If you hike the (non-tourist) trails you'll be all alone on many of the hiking trails in the Smokies. some days I don't see a single soul. sometimes that's a good thing. I can't wait to see more content from you. thanks for sharing, new sub here.

Yes, those trails close to Gatlinburg get extremely busy. I’ve started exploring trails on the less visited sections of the park - and enjoy the serenity. Thanks for watching and subscribing! Trek on!

Adventures Found If like less crowds the NC side of the Smokies is wonderful Hazel Creek is my favorite. My video of that hike premieres this coming Monday morning. Welch Ridge, Eagle Creek, Noland Divide are a few other favorites.

You should do an in-depth look at the trail-builders and the different things you come across during your adventures.

Excellent suggestion. Actually, I have a couple of trail builder and maintainer videos on the schedule for early spring. Stay tuned and thanks for watching and suggesting!

Looks like you found a Pine Cork "Phellinus Pini" on your hike. Not for sure though. Thanks for showing it to your fungus fans:)

    What book was that?

A copy of the New Testament. We saw two more copies, wrapped in plastic, on the trail. Someone was spreading the good word👍🏻
