Clip doesnt show full context and nobody in the comments seems to know, so as a Rangers fan who watched the game heres what actually happened: Partick Thistle (Red and Yellow) were trying to play the ball out because one of our players was injured, Tillman (initial goalscorer) wasn't aware of this and proceeded to tackle the defender and score. As a return of the planned gesture of goodwill, our manager and captain agreed to let Partick run down the other end and score themselves so that they weren't unduly punished for trying to do the right thing. The clip doesn't show the injury, but if you saw the full game, you could see the Partick player slow down and start looking to put the ball out once he noticed. It was the right thing to do and I'm glad we did it.

That's not at all what happened. The Rangers kicked the ball out for their player Tillman to receive treatment. After the throw-in from Thistle, the Rangers stole the ball and scored. Thistle's Holt said he wanted to shoot the ball into the Rangers half so they can have to ball back. After the confusion the Rangers allowed Thistle to score.

What is this tomfoolery, this video has got me very confused. The first goal was just fine and the defenders were too emotional, butthurt and full of ego to accept it. First goal, nothing wrong with it, the player did his job, the defenseman made a poor play, and lost the ball. I’m not sure why they let the other team score, injured player or not, you play until the whistle sounds.

Basically what happened was the player that scored was down injured and partic thistle tried to give the ball back to rangers but then the injured player got up and intercepted the partic thistle pass that was going back to rangers gollie and then he ram up and scored that’s why the players were so angry ( ik cause I was at the game 😂)
