They saved him for Planet Robobot, lol. Triple Deluxe was King Dedede's game. Conversely, Planet Robobot has almost no King Dedede presence, but heavily features Meta Knight in both its main story and the return of the Meta Knightmare mode.

I think he's always half and half. More like an anti hero. Though recently we haven't had a classic Meta Knight fight (with this i mean, a fight in which Meta Knight fights on his own because he wants to and it's not being controlled by other forces like in Robobot or Star Allies)
To be fair, Meta-Knight just needs more Kirby games. Ever since Return to Dreamland we've seen the Kirby 20th anniversary compilation, Triple Star Deluxe and the Rainbow Curse. Perhaps we'll get our next big Kirby game in 2017 to commemorate the 25th anniversary.

False. Meta Knight is not officially banned in Brawl tournaments. He was temporarily banned for a few months, but this was lifted when the organization who put it in place disbanded. Since then, banning him is entirely up to tournament organizers, but he remained playable at major and national events.

I love using the anime to fill in lore blanks but its a really tough balancing act. Its not technically cannon even though im sure some of the info is true.

Is Dedede even a villain at this point? Aside from Kirby's Dreamland, and if you want to count it, Dedede's Revenge in Superstar Ultra, he hasn't done anything outright villainous of his own will since, or if he did, like in Kirby's Adventure, it's eventually revealed he had a good reason to.
I LOVE Meta Knight. I honestly think he might be one of my favorite Nintendo characters. I really think there should be a Meta Knight Mode in every Kirby game, as he's just so freaking awesome. It would be such a great incentive to 100% every Kirby game just to play as this guy.

Meta Knight wasn't mostly purple either. He's mostly blue.
To be fair, Meta-Knight just needs more Kirby games. Ever since Return to Dreamland we've seen the Kirby 20th anniversary compilation, Triple Star Deluxe and the Rainbow Curse. Perhaps we'll get our next big Kirby game in 2017 to commemorate the 25th anniversary.
We've got Meta Knight and Dark Meta Knight in Kirby Star allies and they're playable as dream friends.

False. Meta Knight is not officially banned in Brawl tournaments. He was temporarily banned for a few months, but this was lifted when the organization who put it in place disbanded. Since then, banning him is entirely up to tournament organizers, but he remained playable at major and national events.

They are both Star Warriors as in fighters of Nightmare. Kirby (and 99% likely Meta Knight/Galacta Knight)’s species still has no official name.
I love using the anime to fill in lore blanks but its a really tough balancing act. Its not technically cannon even though im sure some of the info is true.

Is Dedede even a villain at this point? Aside from Kirby's Dreamland, and if you want to count it, Dedede's Revenge in Superstar Ultra, he hasn't done anything outright villainous of his own will since, or if he did, like in Kirby's Adventure, it's eventually revealed he had a good reason to.

I LOVE Meta Knight. I honestly think he might be one of my favorite Nintendo characters. I really think there should be a Meta Knight Mode in every Kirby game, as he's just so freaking awesome. It would be such a great incentive to 100% every Kirby game just to play as this guy.
