I was running the exedy stage 2 ceramic metallic with the stock flywheel, it was a solid clutch, but there’s a little chatter when engaging and it’s a very aggressive bite point, but still very dailyable.
I’ve always been a fan of exedy, I had a stage 1 on my Kraftwerks supercharged 8th gen without issues.

And honestly, I would say ktuner or the flex fuel kit is definitely the best mod for power for your money.
I got a good price on it and my power goal is 300whp since it’s my daily. My type r I’m pushing for 500whp
@@ChrisLowpes Oh fuck, then yeah that's not bad. Are you going for 300 without flex fuel? Curious to see how much the inlet pipes PRL and 27won are making will free up for power. I know a lot of people get close to the 300 mark without e85, and the 27won turbo!
You think if I stayed with just bolt ons I'd be ok with stock clutch? What clutch are you looking to get?
Full bolt-ons would be pushing the limits .. people have reported slipping on stock clutch with just a tune
Honestly the only clutch slip I get is top end gears at low rpms. You shouldn’t romping it anyways at those gears/rpms. The best thing is to downshift and your good!

@@jamesbradley8751 Aftermarket clutches for our 10th gens are a bit controversial... lots of options but none of them seem to work consistently without issues relating to chatter, lockout, etc.. there is a type r retrofit option and it seems to be the best option right now

Would that also be a good turbo for a 2017 Civic sport with CVT? I think the trans can handle 255 HP and or torque.
Ideally I’d say so since it’s not big turbo or anything. You can always dial down the power with the tuner

Yeah I would leave flash to last...I would do intake (Cold air or something like PRL stage 1), oil catch can, shifter bushings, lowering spring, exhaust
keep intercooler and charge pipes in mind if you live in a hot environment, just a friendly suggestion.
Start off with an eBay turbo
Paradise Productions 902 bro flash your car first. I know so many people with 50k+ miles and no clutch issues. I have over 4K on mine and no issues and I tend to push the car a lot
My advice is Ktuner with TSP tune, then go PRL CAI, PRL dp/fp, intercooler, exhaust and mix in some wheels and lowering springs or coils.

I’ve been daily driving my car with ktuner for a couple years now without issue. It comes down to your comfort level in modding.
