I see "Rogue One" as the best made Star Wars film. It was for adults. There was no pandering to children via cute and cuddly aliens and creatures. The story, script, acting and drama were serious. K2SO provided some good levity, so the story wasn't always somber and depressing. Felicity Jones was outstanding as Jyn Erso. All the actors gave great performances. Film making wise, I give "Rogue One" an A+.
The only reason Star Wars is (quotation) for kids is cause there’s no blood. Lightsabers-so hot it evaporates your blood, blasters-beams boils you blood, etc. saying it’s for kids is kinda dumb I don’t get it honestly. Clone wars: we see clones dying left and right and we see how the clones are forced to become slaves and kill their Jedi generals while aware of their actions but can’t stop it Prequel: we see anakins mother die in his arms and her head literally falls as it becomes lifeless, we see anakin get burned and getting surgery while still awake Originals: we see a planet literally get blown up twice (rouge one which ties in) Sequels: it was bad but they destroyed multiple planets (4-5) I strongly find people saying Star Wars is for kids extremely inattentive

When Senator Organa says, "I would trust her with my life," it's not only a reference to Leia, but also a refernce to him being blown up on Alderaan because Leia wouldn't give up the location of the rebel base in Ep IV when she gets captured. He trusted her to keep the secret and died for it.
When Mon Mothma asks Bail Organa about the hidden jedi, it´s referring to Obi Wan Kenobi. And when he said "I would trust her with my life" he is talking about Princess Leia, his adopted daughter. He arranged the plan to bring the plans to Obi Wan through Leia.
In the first appearance of Darth Vader, he was in a Bacta Tank. He used to do it, to heal his body for the serious injures in Mustafar. And as you can see, he constructed his dark tower in the same volcanic planet.
I love this movie. Now y'all need to watch the series Andor which leads up to this movie. IMO, it's the best of the new Star Wars series. Amazing acting!
In the rebel attack to Scarif, the Red Five pilot died trying to enter in the base. The rebellion chose later a new red five pilot... Luke Skywalker as we witnesses in episode IV and the following. For me, this is one of the best Star Wars films ever. The whole film is incredible: complex characters, narration... and the last fifteen minutes a brutal rollercoaster. Darth Vader here show us how terrific he could be.
Remember in the first Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope when the Deathstar plans are turned over, during the briefing the commander gave credit to everyone here when she said many good people gave their lives to get the plans to them. What a great homage to those who made the first series possible.

The Alderaan destruction in the original Star Wars movie was the first full test of the Death Star. In the shots here, they specify single reactor ignition only. So it acts as a nuclear bomb or an asteroid hit.
The blast from that single reactor was as big as Kansas! 😲 We could see on Jedha how it lifted up billions of tons of the surface and swept it away like an ocean wave.

If you want to watch new quality Star Wars material I highly recommend The Mandalorian. It’s a fantastic tv show with 3 seasons and it takes place 5 years after The Return of the Jedi. WAY better than 7-9. Also Andor is also great. It centers around Casian Andor before the events of Rogue One. It shows his life and how the Rebel Alliance was formed. The 3rd one I’d recommend is the Obi Wan Kenobi series. The same actors from the prequels play Obi Wan and Darth Vader/Anakin

If you remember, Anakin was considered "The Chosen One", the one that would bring balance to the force. The prophecy was correct, it didn't happen the way that Obi Wan and Yoda wanted, but in the end, Darth Vader was defeated by Luke and Anakin returned and killed the Emperor, bringing balance to the force, as prophesied. The last movie, "Return Of The Jedi", the "Jedi" in the title was Anakin.
Please make up your own mind on the rest of the sequels. They are flawed (no star war is perfect), but have good stuff in them too. They just have a lot of really loud dissenters online. It's for you to decide, no one else. 💖
This is the story of the opening crawl from the original Star Wars movie from 1977. Agents have won their first victory against the Empire capturing plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon the Death Star. Best Star Wars movie outside of the original trilogoy.
The Death Star has three settings...Alderaan was destroyed using the third and most powerful setting. Jedha City was hit by a blast on the first setting. In the opening crawl of the original Star Wars film, it says that: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the Death Star, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet. Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Princess Leia races home aboard her starship, custodian of the secret plans that can save her people, and restore freedom to the galaxy..." So, this movie is essentially giving us the details of the battle in the opening crawl and showing how the plans were stolen. It also retcons the battle at the end of the original Star Wars film, by providing an explanation for why the rebels only had a few mismatched fighters to throw at the Death Star, and why they would allow some kid from space Nebraska to pilot the Star Wars equivalent of an F-22 with no prior training. The entire rebel fleet and most of its fighters and bombers that were stationed at the base in the Yavin system were destroyed at Scarif. That means that they would have had to pull lightly wounded pilots out of the med center, recall anyone who was off duty, and ask around for any volunteers with flight experience in order to man and fly a mismatched collection of fighters and bombers that were most likely down for maintenance at the time. The squadron of volunteers in their shitty space craft named themselves, "Rogue Squadron," in honor of the volunteers who died on Scarif retrieving the plans. This also sort of brings attention to the fact that if the Death Star had destroyed Yavin IV, it wouldn't have destroyed the rebellion which, by now, was spreading rapidly. It would, however, kill off some of the most important leaders of the rebellion, such as Leia and Mon Mothma (who goes on to become Supreme Chancellor of the New Republic after the war ends.) Also, the Disney+ show, "Andor," which is a prequel to, "Rogue One," turned out to be one of the best pieces of Star Wars content available. I highly recommend.
The sequels have some bad writing to be sure but i think you should still wafch them anyway. Jsut from an entertainment standpoint, they're definitely worth watching just to be in the SW universe a little more.
At this point in time, there are no Jedi....they've all been hunted down by Darth Vadar and killed one by one. The only one Darth Vader can't find is Obi Won, who is looking over Luke to make sure he stays safe. As he says in Empire Strikes Back, "That boy is our only hope." One of the criticisms of Star Wars was, "Why would they build this awesome Death Star and allow it to have such a terrible flaw." This movie was to answer those critics. You are thinking of Darth Sidious. I find it amazing that you guys didn't notice how synthetic Leia looked. She looked plastic, as did the evil commander guy, the one who was in charge of the Death Star in Episode 4. They CGI those characters and did so pretty poorly as well.

This is one of the few Star Wars projects since Ep. 3 "Revenge of the Sith" to measure up to the SW franchise. Everything else has been a titanic disappointment.
Watch the T.V. Series: Andor. It's Beautiful and Amazing content for you. It would be great for your channel. Its one of the few things in Kathleen Kennedy's StarWars as Cannon.Would love to see your reaction!
Most of the lovers of the original trilogy really like Rogue One. Why? Rogue one is gritty like the original star wars. But the prequels are not nearly as gritty and dirty.
What they did to Luke and what they did to Han was unforgivable. And what they did with Leia was just plain bad. Those three characters are humans with human lifespans. There was no good reason not to make the sequels take place after they had passed on. And considering how badly Disney treats existing characters, somebody should have insisted on that.

Excellent!....✌️❤️❤️!.
"is that Leia?" 🤦
It was a single reactor strike, that's why it didn't destroy the entire planet. The Death Star wasn't using all it's destructive power.
"Solo" is also better than movies 7, 8, & 9
The series "Andor", about Cassian Andor is also excellent
I didn't like Solo, but I still agree with this post.
The Death Star has three settings...Alderaan was destroyed using the third and most powerful setting. Jedha City was hit by a blast on the first setting. In the opening crawl of the original Star Wars film, it says that:
"Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the Death Star, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet. Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Princess Leia races home aboard her starship, custodian of the secret plans that can save her people, and restore freedom to the galaxy..."
So, this movie is essentially giving us the details of the battle in the opening crawl and showing how the plans were stolen. It also retcons the battle at the end of the original Star Wars film, by providing an explanation for why the rebels only had a few mismatched fighters to throw at the Death Star, and why they would allow some kid from space Nebraska to pilot the Star Wars equivalent of an F-22 with no prior training.
It would, however, kill off some of the most important leaders of the rebellion, such as Leia and Mon Mothma (who goes on to become Supreme Chancellor of the New Republic after the war ends.)
Also, the Disney+ show, "Andor," which is a prequel to, "Rogue One," turned out to be one of the best pieces of Star Wars content available. I highly recommend.
The sequels have some bad writing to be sure but i think you should still wafch them anyway. Jsut from an entertainment standpoint, they're definitely worth watching just to be in the SW universe a little more.

Nobody i repeat nobody reacts to a movie like that 😂

FAVORITE lV, V, this one, Vl, lll, ll, kind of like Vll, Hans is a Popcorn movie. Disney sucks.
This is the only good Disney’s Star Wars movie.
Just so you know, you guys didn't finish Star Wars... you didn't watch the entire third trilogy and there are multiple shows as well, the best being The Mandalorian famous for "baby Yoda" and Andor, about Cassian Andor from Rogue One.

Theres been plenty of terrible films Robert Deniro has been in.
Do you really think if they gave vader the disk, that he woukd just stop and let them go???
Rogue One is the ONLY Disney Movie that's good. No Star Wars Fans like the Shitquels 7-9
Simply not true..
Not true!!! I love all of them!!!
Speak for yourself bro.
@@brad378 No. Piss off.
Disney Sar Wars is pure trash. All this stuff is shit lol.
@ImRonDurden🤡🤡
Disney Star Wars no good
