The Clone Troopers of the Republic were human, and had human emotions. They were just cloned from a single genetic donor instead of being born normally with the random genes of their parents. The later Storm Troopers of the Empire were just regular people who enlisted in the military. The even later Storm Troopers of the First Order were also regular people, but they were taken from their parents at birth and trained from childhood as soldiers, although a huge chunk of their training involved indoctrination, loyalty, and ruthlessness. The initial batch of First Order Storm Troopers were children that were thrown into a "kill or be killed" environment, and the survivors were then trained as soldiers. These survivors went on to become the leadership and training cadre for the First Order's Storm Trooper Divisions. The most ruthless and coldly brutal of all of the initial group went on to become Captain Phasma, the soldier lady in the silver armor and cape. The training program that she survived was created by Brendol Hux, a former imperial officer now part of the rising First Order military. His son, Armitage Hux, then joined the First Order military, rose quickly as an officer and killed his father. He took over the Storm Trooper training program, making it more efficient and reliable. Armitage is the red haired General that's always fighting with Kylo Ren. Brendol is already dead at the time the movie takes place, but he appears in the third season of "The Mandalorian," (which takes place 25 years before this film,) as part of the council prepping for the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn, along with Moff Gideon. Jakku, the desert planet that Rey lives on in the beginning, is the site of the final major battle between the Alliance and the Empire. The planet is covered in wreckage from both the huge ground battle and wreckage from crippled ships falling out of orbit. A big chunk of the population is involved in scavenging these battlefields. This is also the place that the Imperial survivors departed from as the battle concluded, escaping into the Unknown Regions and eventually forming the First Order.

So if the conflict with ben solo could not have happened cause he was hopefully and optimistic then rest what we se in the movie could have not happened as well, no1 looses hope with no reason no1 chances like this with no reason sins the incident with hes father had opposite effect
