My old dog used to nick the wood and chew it when I was working with it in the garage sadly he passed a few years back but I do still have a hammer he chewed the end of the hammer shaft on I call it my Timmy hammer after him he knew it was my favourite hammer.
Great video. I love these, please keep them coming. I have to say that discovering the Repair Shop helped keep me sane during our lockdown’s here in Canada. In particular I really enjoy your projects. I’m currently recovering from a non Covid medical issue and I found your channel that I’m now binging. You’ve given me a few ideas for projects when I’m mobile again. Thanks Dom.
Dom thank you for these how to videos. You explain things really well and even though my skills are still very rough, being able to see you working and how you think things through definitely helps me either pick up some new techniques or stop myself using bad ones. This channel is great. Vlog 7 is a good example of turning a stressful day around into something positive too.
Love watching artisans like you create a bespoke wooden sign - please keep posting, you are giving us confidence to have-a-go at home - bless you Dominic
I know that corrugated shack you pictured at the start of the episode very well. Your pastiche was a real transformation of that building, and the BSA fitted right in, it's a great looking bike. Thanks for sharing, all the best
Nice job Dom love the videos bit of a tip for you if you don’t have any heating in your work shop or you don’t want to leave heaters on all night then a rubber hot water bottle nice and full will keep a small project nice and warm all night! Keep the videos coming Mr D.
Fantastic. Have loved all the work you've done on the repair shop but its extra special to see how much further your talents stretch. Keep em coming fella.
Wow so I left a comment about doing simple skills something we can learn and do at home and this is it ! Really cant wait to see more ! You really should have your own TV program!
Really enjoyed this. It's lovely to see the Wood being reused. We've got a couple of shelves at home where the Wood came from a School and is about 100 years old. A lot of modern stuff is cheap quality rubbish. Personally I like the variety in the videos. It's really interesting to see all the different things that you do.
Excellent sign - the use of old wood really made it and the oil totally finished it off. Its good to see you are using a separate cameraman, there are other channels where the presenter is dong their own camera work and it shows in the reduced quality of the finished video. Knew of you through your work on the Repair Shop, so subscribing was a no brainer. Don't care what the project is, I'm guaranteed to watch.
Cool sign and logo! I liked how you didn't paint the recesses that had worn away to keep the "old sign" look. I will be using some of your techniques. Thanks for sharing the process, Dom.
Hi Dom , like the sign writing mate , lots more would be good 👍 fantastic channel great content, great delivery 👍 your into every thing like me ! Regards Frank
Hello Dom, how nice of Festool to think of Dewalt when they made their track saw! Another fantastic project, would love to see more sign writing very skilled work cheers Simon

Just watched you video on how make a sign was very interesting. The sign I want make is not so elaborate but you have given me some ideas thanks Dominic I will send you photo of my sign when it's done
I can't get enough of your videos...I'm chewing through them! Love them!
Thank you!!
