i’m in the same boat as you. I have a nice bunion and I’ve asked three of my podiatrist over the past few years if spacers or bunion correctors would help. And they said absolutely not. They said you can use a spacer if the big toe is starting to rub against the second toe, but the only true way it corrected if it’s hurting, you is surgery. Now I’ve watched about 30 videos over the past couple weeks of all these people saying that it can be corrected without surgery. And I might add that my physical therapist who I’m with now, which is actually close to being a doctor because he’s read my MRIs to me and explained things in detail and he’s pretty knowledgeable said that they don’t work either….. what gives?
My whole family has this. Only two sisters did the operation. I tried them and they were all uncomfortable. Im 74 and so far no pain because i put a little seperated on my 2nd toe.
I recently watched a video on a similarly painful condition cslled "turf toe". They showed how to TAPE the toe to fet relief. I tried that method for three days and nights. It actually DID help. So i'm not sure if i have a bunion issue or "turf toe". Just glad the pain is reduced. My dr attributes my bunion pain to osteoarthritis.
I used these correctors, but they had almost no effect. Depanten gel really helped to reduce these bumps. It's a gel, and I bought it online in Romania. Maybe it can be ordered in other countries as well, you just have to look for it.
Please tell me what is the name and brand of the dynamic splint that has the flexibility for the big toe for walking and you put it on and then you can wear it with a shoe thank you
My bunion on the left foot is a little terrible, I only get relief when I wear the rigid splint now. I wish I'd done a lot of physio and toe exercises earlier, but it was too painful.
You have to stretch out your chin, foot and calve muscles, then put this on. There should be tight muscle connected to your big toe that’s all tensed up
2-3' is nothing. I have no bunions, or noticeable priblems, hallux valgus, but my big toe sits against the next one. Is that something that will cause problems, and can I correct it?
I have tried everything he demonstrated except the last thing - the toe exercise band - and none of them worked. The night things ended up on the floor before morning. I have tried for 40+ years. Retiring & getting off my feet is the only thing that has gotten rid of the pain.
I was told by a prominent podiatrist that spacers can actually make the problem worse. That was also my experience when I tried spacers.
How?

Hi! Could you make a video of tailor's buns? Is it possible to tape the pinkie toes as well? Thank you very much in advance!
I have started to script one. It will be released soon.
