I feel like I was just hypnotised for a full hour and forty one minutes. Simply Red is brilliant. Todays so called singers and bands could learn so much from these guys. So glad I lived my prime through the 80s.

Mick‘s voice isn‘t one bit less strong or beautiful live than it is in studio recording. He’s a rare, wild, irresistible talent!!! I adore him, his music and his band. I keep going to their concerts and be filled with so many emotions. ❤❤❤

“Holding Back The Years” was the 1st song I heard by Simply Red. From that point on I was a life long fan. Fantastic vocals, the band is great. Love SIMPLY RED!!!
Me too. I bought Picture Book on tape to play in my car and wore it out. Had to buy the vinyl and record it onto a blank tape so I could still listen on road trips :-) Can't believe that's 35 years ago!!

Simply Red ages like the finest wine... simply delicious in every sense of the word... being at one of their concerts it's like reading a compelling novel, or dreaming awake, or enjoying one of those trascendental movies on a cold saturday afternoon while curled up in a comfy couch wrapped around you coziest blanket... it does not get any better!

WOW! Mick Hucknall's voice is still strong and beautiful...even in his "older" years! Actually, Mick is only 8 years older than me so, I'm "older", too. Hehehe! I was in 12th grade (senior year) in high school in the U.S. when Simply Red's #1 hit, Holding Back The Years was released around April-May 1986 and I've loved the band Simply Red ever since. Mick Hucknall has such a unique and amazing voice...once of the finest voices I've ever heard and it seems he follows his heart and soul! JUST AMAZING how his voice hasn't changed at all! I've also seen a couple of interviews with Mick on t.v. talk shows and just love how he always praises his father. It sounds like Mr. Hucknall was an amazing man. I've been a fan of Simply Red since the beginning and I'm definitely still a fan!
Hell yah! I was 10 years into my US Navy career and was at USNaval Station Key West and jamming to Simply Red when I first purchased my "early tech CD" of them. Mick is still a favorite of my wife and I. Great memories.
So I watched this for the first time 2 nights ago (6th July 2022) I enjoyed it so much, and here I am again. He sings TO his audience, he smiles to each and every one of them. He has a special aura around him, an incredible voice. Each song is sung clearly and they are all like listening to really interesting personal stories and his life and his love for his loved ones. His whole concert is like going on a special journey. He has a gorgeous smile too. ☺️🙂. And let’s take a moment for his incredibly talented band members, wow.

There are no cliches applicable to the absolute "perfect entertaining quality" of Simply Red. Mick, a true showman, of the highest degree. Along with impeccable artist musicians. Fabulous.
I feel that he now plays to us older folks that truly loved Mick's musical genius and memories we all have. Brilliant band and talent Ugh. Best concert. Royal Albert Hall is where you know you've made it. Bravo Mick. I cried and so many emotions that come to mind.

Ooooh this performance has a very distinct vibe, and a real groove to it. Love the instrumentation. I can't put my finger on what's different about the mix. The instrumentation, arrangements and groove of this performance really pops. Some artists find the Royal Albert Hall distinctly intimidating whereas Mick looks totally at ease on this stage. And of course Mick's voice is absolutely on point - as always. Amazing voice!! Thank you XX

This band is fantastic, perfectly coordinated and so so good, the voice of Mick still unbelievable!!, My favorite band since my college years. now I'm 54...still in love with this band!!
What makes this band last so long and be so relevant today still is because even live, he sounds like what he recorded. People don’t want to go to a concert to hear their favorite songs and then it winds up being something different sounding.
His voice is still so strong and beautiful. I have always loved Simply Red.

I will start by saying that I am always impressed by the fact that despite having several changes in the formation of the band Simply Red has always maintained an identity, which would say the band's trademark! Mick Hucknall you impress personality, style, quality and youth in your work! magnificent! I feel very young watching and listening to this show. Bravo, very brief.
