Beautiful story ad! Quite some years back I heard my son of early teens blaring Twisted Sister (or Bent Brother, not sure) from his bedroom through his new stereo (that's what we used to call them). I heard myself say, "What the hell is that noise? You can't even understand a word they're saying! I had a sudden flash that my father had said the same thing, and immediately realized that I had to do something. I grabbed "Dark Side of the Moon", headed down the hall and opened his door and said, "here, put this on!" He did. It was incredibly heart warming to realize that he fell in love with it. Yes, Pink Floyd has done wonderful things for this world...

That's like putting my hand in the meat grinder and then expecting people to feel sorry for me. Smh.
If more people were like me wars wouldn't exist. I'll never thank any veteran for their service because doing so means I have to accept the premise of whatever war they fought in and the premises for all th US wars are of corporate nature. Was fortunate enough to see them at Wembley and can say it is probably the greatest concert I've ever been to. Introduced my son to David's music very early because it was always playing in the car. As a super fan and someone who is getting older, it reminds me that all the fighting and regret you have in life gets in the way of creating something special. I know right?? And yet here we are, commenting on "The Wall", which is based on war and suppression ETC. and still ....they make things better. My "go to" when feeling down. Did ya ever notice NO BAND has EVER come even close to "soothing the soul" with truth downers who are actually as uppers??
