This Week’s Happy Hour Special: Sloe Gin Fizz
Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces sloe gin
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon powdered sugar
4 ounces champagne
Instructions: Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add the sloe gin, lemon juice and powdered sugar, then shake vigorously until chilled. Strain the cocktail into a glass, add ice if desired, and top with champagne. Cheers!

It is possible to “see” the international space station…(or the light from it). There’s a schedule online that you can search for times in your area. My HS superlative was “most courteous”

I recently watch a Looper video on TH-cam about the most expensive shows. Also the Discovery card I had went to 12 or 15K limit before I paid it off and closed it.

I love this show!!! It's such a fun concept. Is the drink you featured more like a French 75 rather than a sloe gin fizz which has simple syrup and club over sugar and champagne? It's been fun hearing the breakdown of these drinks!

At our Christmas Parties at work, they give out Superlative Awards and one year I got The Olaf Award and another year I got one for something like "most positive attitude" or something like that!

As for superlatives , my senior year in highschool I was voted "Most Spirited" with a guy who is now my brother-in-law, "Best Couple" with a guy I did not end up with but, fun fact, his brother used to work for Ramsey Solutions, then 17 years later (aka earlier this spring) my medical school class voted me "Most Compassionate Student".
I was most persuasive with teachers. And also best peacemaker.

17:14 Fwiw you can actually see the ISS with the naked eye on any clear night. It looks like a star in the sky but it moves fast across the sky and it will appear every 60 seconds or so 😊

My high school superlative was Best Hair! Mainly for my natural red hair color.
I've always been a sloe gin fan. I had no idea the fiz had powdered sugar and champagne! My 'go to' was to mix with cola since it tastes like a cherry coke.
I won best smile and best eyes in high school but the kicker is my brother won best hair and then became prematurely bald by like age 19 or 20😂😂😂

I would love an episode about the cost of childbirth in America. With George’s baby on the way that could be really interesting. I’m a mom of one and I paid for a midwife and then I had to be taken to the hospital so I paid for a hospital birth as well as a homebirth. I will be paying on it until 2027.
I had a baby in 2019. I qualified for medicaid back then, so I didn’t pay a dime. They still mailed me the bill though. $22,000 for a normal delivery, 2 nights in the hospital. I still can’t believe that lol
Our school had some strange superlatives, mine was most likely to be a millionaire. I ain’t mad.
Given how much more popular soccer is than football or baseball worldwide, I’m surprised that a soccer team isn’t worth the most. It must be the lack of commercials and fewer people buying memorabilia.

However, there is no evidence because, back in the day, the yearbooks went to press prior to Senior Character Day when the Mosts/Bests were revealed. I know this is a Ramsey production, but the transition to "live on a budget ad download our app" is kind of awkward. It would be nice if this show was just for entertainment.
I've watched The Ramsey Show for years and am a big fan, but it doesn't really fit in this show.
If they REALLY need that stuff in the episode, maybe make it part of a corny PSA that runs during the credits. I'm thinking of how blimey cow has a funny skit at the end or how 7th Heaven said "don't do drugs" at the end.
This episode seemed like a shameless plug and threw of the flow of the episode.

It's far from a "shameless plug". Budgeting=Ramsey Solutions. This show is called Smart Money which is super relevant.
Every podcast has sponsors and promos to exist.... employing a team costs money! Dr Andrew Huberman's podcasts are extremely popular but start with 8 minutes of sponsor promos. "Shameless plugs"? No, just annoyances that I ignore and fast forward ☺️ These sponsors bring these wonderful podcasts to existence. I'm a newbie to Smart Money and have a tolerant nature 😉 That's what's fun about podcasts.... they take on their own spontaneous flow.
