Yeah it’s not a complaint as such just don’t think it’s clear on the website, UK sites would make it clear if it excluded VAT, just all adds up and when you do - it’s no cheaper than UK, also slower due to customs. Just wanted people to be aware that’s all.
I'll never understand why RC Rally Racing isn't bigger. The cars are awesome and there is so many different makes - Lancia, Ford, Toyota etc. Great car, thanks.
My first Tamiya with the wide tires and small engine. My dad got me a police rc car for my birthday (80s) and it wouldn't work so hobby shop sold this to my dad. It was the cheapest to get into the electric rc at the time. Thanks Dad. He Passed last summer and I returned to the hobby when he was sick and purchased the mojave and super baja rey. He got to see the Mojave go before he passed. Great hobby lots of fun
Hi, these are what I used with my Tamiya XVO1 Delta (links below ) and a few other bodies I also use with it, Mitsubishi Lancer Rally and Nissan GTR. These lights fit into the light sockets perfectly are very bright. Bought 4 in total and all are great but I also needed a switch cable from ebay so that I can use a transmitter button to turn on off. These lights flash, blink twiz about but I don't bother with that just use normal lights on/off. The lights 2 are just normal light and are really all you need without the flash but note: double check the led size as they seem to do a larger and smaller size and some come with there own light alloy fittings that you need to push through the body. These look great as side lower spotlights on the mitsubishi lancer Evo but not what you want on a detailed body I suppose. Basically all these light are super cool but check "your" specific led/light bucket size, have fun. Hope this helps. Cheers for your breakfast entertainment. Also a plug for EuroRC. I placed an order from them a few months ago at the height of the pandemic situation. The R/C parts I ordered were on my doorstep exactly 7 days from when I ordered them- From Finland to the center of the USA in a week! That was faster delivery than I was getting from shops here in the US at the time!!
I have this car. Awesome chassis and body. It was a lot of work to hand paint everything on the exterior. I swapped the CVA dampers that came with the kit for a set of super mini CVA dampers. I wanted a lower touring car stance and it makes a huge difference!
Hi Glen! Great video as always. Got the belt driven 037 and a project of the frog and Brat chassis. One thing which You should know is that the photo You showed was a Delta Integrale which was a group A car. The named Delta S4 was Group B, which was a absolute fascinating car. A milestone in Rallying. This car had a completely different sound with turbo and compressor. So amazing to see and listening!!!
This is a must buy as a rally fan and Tamiya fan boy. When it's been announced in 2018, I just can't help myself and orders a whole carton with some option parts for this TA-02S chassis that I had in mind to build it the way I wanted , running like a real Gr.b 037 ! My goals are RWD with 4 wheels break only using Tamiya genuine parts. Unfortunately, years go by, something happened to me during 2019-2020, and I haven't got my hands on it... That's why I am so excited when I see you are going to build one, one of my dream rally car! Can't wait to see what you will do to this rally legend like you always did with brilliant creation！👏👏👏
Wow, nice to see you've got your 'mojo' back mate!! The Lancia 037 has got to be one of the best looking cars ever, not just rally cars but cars in general. I've always been a fan of it, never had one though. And that Jeremy Clarkson video is excellent, really interesting, I think I've seen it at least 6 or 7 times now and always worth watching. Great little video, I cannot wait to see the build and running videos mate!!
I have to say I loved the original release - and that of the original Quattro - with the big wide tyres that made them look almost comical but awesomely cool! I think I actually have a set of the original wheels and tyres!

Anything with Martini racing livery is awesome! This kit has me tempted. My favorite car of all time is the Lancia Stratos. I really wish there was a 1/10 version available. I do have a Kyosho Mini-Z Stratos and a vintage LaTrax 1/12 vintage R/c Stratos from 1981. Btw I totally get the R/C burnout situation. I have so many projects lined up on on the back burner, but I am dragging my feet at getting them put together. I have to motivate myself somehow Lol!!

Glenn, great addition to the channel! One of my favorite cars of all time and a lovely model from Tamiya. Quick note that the successor to the 037 was the Delta S4 (a truly insane car) but the photo you showed was the Delta Integrale (most likely the Evo2) that followed after after the demise of Group B. Is is the most successful car in WRC history with 6 titles and is iconic. Would be great to see a build of the XV01 version of on the channel as it is different than any other chassis type. Gavin at RCKicks did some videos a couple months ago and seemed to enjoy the build (aside from the decals).

It indeed is a nice kit (in particular if you do not like the lexan bodies) and it was my 2nd car. I've built it upon the ORV chassis of my Frog back in 1984. However - the decals are really spoiling the fun. It is almost impossible (yes it might me but surely I am not the only one) to add these flawlessly to the body - without a gap or an overlap. And I guess that's what you want when building up such a beautiful scale replica.
Looks like the body is going to be a beast to do with those decals and all the details. I’ve looked at this one too but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet . I have a feeling after I watch your build video I’ll want it .
Probably my favourite RC I’ve built . You will need a few modifications to get it good off-road. But great chassis and take time with the body . Got a running video if anyone’s interested. I’m a Lancia 037 fanboy 😂
Use a hot air gun on the Delta Glen. They shrink wrap themselves to the contours of the car and look super smooth. Always works for me and I’ve done a few. 👍🏻
Hi Glenn, right mate, we need to get one thing straight. :-) People can "fall out with the hobby" but erm, not you. You are not allowed to. Those are them rules Sir. :-) Other people's videos, I only watch the ones I like, which is natural but with yours I'll watch anything. Even if you were doing a new model called the Tamiya Toilet Roll I'd watch it. Hey that could be good for April Fools. So yes I get it, of course you can take a break anytime you like, part of your charm is only doing what you want, but I'm glad you got your mojo back. Happy Rc'ing with your Lancia.
Is a nice detailed model. Had it and sold it many years ago not with the TA02 chasis, but TA03 RS. Too many delicious RC models out there, but not enough room and money to get them all.
Great pickup Glenn. Have the earlier Lancia with the TAO3R-s chassis which will be built . Loved this iconic rally car so much I purchased an extra body kit.
@@TAMIYALegends yes I came Across someone selling afew kits at cracking prices so I snapped them up. The TA02s was one and it’s always been on my radar. ABS body and the Chassis being different to the TT platform is the attraction.
When I started back in this hobby I wasn't a big fan of Tamiya. I had a couple. But it never did it for me. But as I watch some of the great channels that show these cars and share the history on them, like your channel, Tamiya has such a strong following. Obviously. It basically started it all.. lol But lately I have really been looking seriously at them. For me? I would have to say the Rally cars are the ones I like the most. This one or the Subaru are the ones I am looking at .. THanks for sharing
Agree on the box art and detail, Tamiya at it's best. Getting tempted to order the MKII Escort or Quattro and get the LED's, need to do some research to see what other replica bodies I can get as so many nice ones I'd want to try

Glenn I did this kit with LED lights there are some good videos on TH-cam about making LED lights cheap simple electrics I started it but still not finished I think I exhausted my self building hilux pick ups Seems Tamiyaitis leaves you skint and exhausted mentally until you catch it again 😂😂great video anyway and thanks for all the hard work that goes into them J

I remember the original one on the orv chassis and it looked so odd I loved it😍 the body on the original was significantly different to this one because the wheels arches were bigger which changed the dimensions of it! Its something you dont realise until you put them side by side? Excellent video I'm not generally a on road car fan but I'm looking forward to seeing this one built👍
If you are going to run this beauty, you will see why the front grader is needed. Those Martini decal just make any shelve queen pop. You could be itching for the lancia delta with interior, but with a poly body.

I’ve been eyeing this one as well I don’t know how many times I can use the “always have room for a rally car” excuse I’ve got next to no room as is 😂 The M chassis Ford escort Mk2 kinda has priority ATM Either way I’m just glad this wasn’t on a TT02 chassis or something (not hating on the TT02 it’s just so many of them) I believe originally this body first came on a ORV chassis

Well damn!! I've always skipped over this car. Never been a fan of the real one and always thought it was nose heavy looking. Since onjoying detailing my skyline shell I've been looking for a car to be more of a shell focused build and was gonna go rally beetle. But didn't realise this was a hard shell with full cockpit plus it's not just another tt02.
I was always so tempted with this kit. Still am. I'm just too scared to mess up the painting as I have no experience with ABS bodies, and just slapping on the stickers without paint is not an option for me. But I love the look of the 037 so much. I also love the fact that Tamiya included those dents in the roof as both Markku Alen and Walter Röhrl are quite tall.
I could never understand why Tamiya didn’t produce any more Group B cars. They would surely have sold like hot cakes to vast numbers of motorsport fans globally. And again now on the re-re market. They certainly missed chances with the absence of the T16, the S4, the 200, the 6R4 and the S1 in their 1/10th lineup. But then it has taken them over 40 years to come up with an RS 1800, so there’s always time I suppose 😆🤦🏻♂️

Use a hot air gun on the Delta Glen. They shrink wrap themselves to the contours of the car and look super smooth. Always works for me and I’ve done a few. 👍🏻

Is a nice detailed model. Had it and sold it many years ago not with the TA02 chasis, but TA03 RS.

@@TAMIYALegends yes I came Across someone selling afew kits at cracking prices so I snapped them up. The TA02s was one and it’s always been on my radar. ABS body and the Chassis being different to the TT platform is the attraction.

When I started back in this hobby I wasn't a big fan of Tamiya. I had a couple. But it never did it for me. But as I watch some of the great channels that show these cars and share the history on them, like your channel, Tamiya has such a strong following. Obviously. It basically started it all.. lol But lately I have really been looking seriously at them. For me? I would have to say the Rally cars are the ones I like the most. This one or the Subaru are the ones I am looking at .. THanks for sharing

Agree on the box art and detail, Tamiya at it's best. Getting tempted to order the MKII Escort or Quattro and get the LED's, need to do some research to see what other replica bodies I can get as so many nice ones I'd want to try

I started it but still not finished I think I exhausted my self building hilux pick ups

I remember the original one on the orv chassis and it looked so odd I loved it😍 the body on the original was significantly different to this one because the wheels arches were bigger which changed the dimensions of it! Its something you dont realise until you put them side by side? Excellent video I'm not generally a on road car fan but I'm looking forward to seeing this one built👍

If you are going to run this beauty, you will see why the front grader is needed. Those Martini decal just make any shelve queen pop. You could be itching for the lancia delta with interior, but with a poly body.
Nice looking car glenn , just bought a led kit for my sierra cosworth, it's got headlights side lights front back and reverse light, quite straight forward to set up got it from modelsport, cheers 👍

Either way I’m just glad this wasn’t on a TT02 chassis or something (not hating on the TT02 it’s just so many of them) I believe originally this body first came on a ORV chassis

Well damn!! I've always skipped over this car. Never been a fan of the real one and always thought it was nose heavy looking. Since onjoying detailing my skyline shell I've been looking for a car to be more of a shell focused build and was gonna go rally beetle. But didn't realise this was a hard shell with full cockpit plus it's not just another tt02.

I was always so tempted with this kit. Still am. I'm just too scared to mess up the painting as I have no experience with ABS bodies, and just slapping on the stickers without paint is not an option for me. But I love the look of the 037 so much. I also love the fact that Tamiya included those dents in the roof as both Markku Alen and Walter Röhrl are quite tall.

I could never understand why Tamiya didn’t produce any more Group B cars.
They would surely have sold like hot cakes to vast numbers of motorsport fans globally.
And again now on the re-re market.
They certainly missed chances with the absence of the T16, the S4, the 200, the 6R4 and the S1 in their 1/10th lineup.
But then it has taken them over 40 years to come up with an RS 1800, so there’s always time I suppose 😆🤦🏻♂️
