- Lancia, Pininfarina, Dallara and new Fiat acquisition Abarth set about designing and building the ultimate Group B rally monster. Group B was no joke, the competition promised to be the toughest, the fastest, and therefore hopefully the most watched in rally history, and manufacturers weren’t playing games.

Is the previous panoz video the same as i am getting mega deja vu from it
The Panoz video was a bit different. I had made a video about the car in early 2020, but the old one was just gran turismo clips and voiceover. The script too was heavily revised to correct mistakes and update it to match the quality / tone of the newer content. You might've just been having deja vu hahaha

I can't believe you missed the Lancia's 037 key feature that allows compact storage of pizzas next to the driver for sustenance during a hard competition.
Imagine having a drinking tube for Coffee in the helmet.

The Peugeot 205 t16 of late group b is video worthy, and probably my favorite hot hatch ever
Lancia Stratos,037 and Delta S4 are the best looking cars ever in the Rally history
I totally agree about Stratos and 037, but delta S4 was really ugly to see. No elegance at all, only brute force, and an horrible look. Group A Delta was better, but not at a Stratos level. Just ok, but not impressive. Victories made it a legend.
The S4 looks awesome, pure Brutish beauty. It looks incredible

A delta video would be great since it isnthe most successful of lancias cars and the last to win. Keep up the great work man you are killing it
From what I read in the motor mags in the 90's...."Lancia knew 4x4 was the way to go but couldn't afford it, so they stuck with RWD for that year and, they were a very successful team and knew how to run a car for a full season, Audi were just starting".....

Lancia is one of the more important rally winner! For me the Best rally cars! Japanese also had good cars Subaru Toyota Mitsubishi but the carismatic rally car is Lancia

037 did compete in most of the rallies in season 85 before they switched to S4 for the rac finale.
The Lancia 037 is a motoring legend, and Attilio Bettega was one of the very best drivers in the history of rally. May he rest in paradise.

I hate how they cheated so much to win, that's the 037's legacy for me lol
They stretched the rules, but the rules at the time didn't have a "against the spirit of the rules" rule, which covers everything not covered by the rule book. Strictly speaking, Peugeot and Lancia didn't follow the spirit of the rules building mid-engine silhouette cars when Audi modified a road car into a rally car.
@@Mr037rally suspect that dirk was not bothered by actual cheating by Audi at Cote D'Ivoire or McLaren in F1, or rule bending by Porsche in Sports Car.
