      Stop thinking like a victim.
Find people that need help and provide it to them. This is called a value exchange and luckily for you most people will exchange money in return for you solving a problem/need for them.
Go out and clean windows, clear gutters, learn a skill you can monetise Just do something and you might get somewhere
If not just stay where you are and enjoying being a slave but you probably won’t enjoy it

I was about to mention exactly this. Now this is real fucking sad cause I am 28 and not low 20s, but having a good night out is exactly what gives me happiness; the feeling of being included, and not to mention female attention now that I've gotten into better shape
Video games however is that easy fallback that I have a struggle avoiding whenever I get bored. It numbs the anxiety and gives me this goal that pretends to be productive. It hijacks all of my productivity by being a bit more fun than whatever else I could do

I've done all these things over the past 10 years. Read all except one of the book's you mentioned. Tony Robbins book totally changed my life for the better. Got fitter by learning to run, increased distances over time & ran over 8 marathons & one ultra marathon 62km. Bought my own house in the countryside in North West Ireland. So true hanging around with average people will only give you an average life. To the next level we need personal challenges & goals to improve our body & minds & overall self worth. So true about not finding like minded people in your own home town. When I say I'm going to do a thing, people think I'm mad. Yet when I achieve & surpass that goal you can see the envy in their eyes. Most people that go to college stop learning & investing in themselves, then the wonder why their wife/girlfriend leaves them or they feel crap within themselves. Mind-set is everything.
Exercise for me is bodybuilding & martial arts - aikido
I'm creative - I play guitar, piano & drums, compose music, write poetry & stories
Reading is really important I like biographies of people who have inspired me growing up, so when they mention a book, habit etc I take note of these things & implement them in my own life.
Such a pity they don't teach this stuff in school. Kids would have a better head start in life knowing how real life truly works.

I've been saying similar things regarding alcohol & weed for years. It makes people complacent & content with their current situation. People spend their entire 20s in shitty, run down, pubs. But, are content with their life due to the effects of alcohol. The same goes for weed, instead of working & getting ahead early in life, growing to a position where they can finance higher tier experiences the world offers. People are comfy to sit in their homes, smoking weed, re-watching episodes of the same show they've seen a thousand times before.
Both substances are merely vices people use to mask the reality that they are underachieving, and throwing away opportunities the modern world & technology has offered them.

Yea mate, i gave up smoking with Easyway, it’s been about 7-8 years now and read the alcohol version, and it’s been 3 years since I’ve had a drink. Wish I did it younger, good on you bud. It’s a good lifestyle to share with people, the truth is no one needs that shit, it’s just this culture that we grow up that makes us think it’s normal to poison ourselves to be social.
Best books I’ve ever read, if it doesn’t work the first time, keep reading it over and over. I must have listened to the cd 10 times before I was finally able to stop smoking.

When reading, I like to combine self help with a lot of fiction. Most people will say bland statements such as “reading novels is just like watching a film it’s a waste of time” n all this bullshit. But I’ve found when reading self help books, they are usually formatted the way in which a novel is. Whilst in novels you may not be taught a lesson as simple as “subdivide tasks for productivity”, this same lesson may be blended into the story and the characters. One of the best ‘self improvement-esque’ novels I’ve found is one called the way of kings by Brandon Sanderson. I’m not trying to convince anyone to my way of thinking, but I just find more value out of novels as they make for more substantial reads. If you haven’t before I recommend you at least try a novel.

    • @User1flfl
      @User1flfl 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@outlander234 New age nonsense? This mindset is old, VERY old. Embracing your masculinity is something the western society has kinda just blocked out the last couple decades but has thrived in other parts of the world FOREVER. Constantly improving yourself emotionally and physically is something all men need nowadays. The wide majority of teenagers and young adults have no guidance, even if they do its improper guidance. I know so many teenagers that are hooked on percs, xanx, weed, and alcohol and its being normalized more and more. Ffs when I was in alternative school the teachers would let the students vape and smoke their thc pens while the teacher just sat there and watched and did absolutely nothing. Society's norm is changing into something that's terrifying. Young men around me would rather shoot each other then punch each other a few times and shake hands afterwards. There's no guidance, especially in high crime areas where everybody is either working 2-3 jobs, stealing, or scamming. Bowing down to a society that's brainwashing and manipulating tf out of you is nothing less the stupid. And working a "decent job" is miserable, you're never financially free, you can't go on vacation whenever you want, there's zero passive income, it's stupid. Any man above the age of 30 should be financially free and if they aren't, they did it wrong. There's literally 1000s of different ways to set on your couch in do virtually nothing while making more money then you can handle. Your whole mindset is terrible but nonetheless I wish you the best.

I watched it 2 days ago and it really inspired me to take action right away.
The timing couldn't be more perfect as yesterday was my birthday.
The best gift I've given myself is the commitment to become even better version of myself before my next birthday.
There's so much I want to do with my life and few things were holding me back.
But since yesterday - no more "holding me back" things in my life.
One of my commitments is that I'll eat only healthy & nutritious food for a next year + I'll exercise daily.
I'll also take my business to the next level with working on it CONSISTENTLY every single day.
I'm leaving this comment to say thank you and to get back to it as the point of reference.
    I'll share results after 1 Aug 2023.
Good luck for others who made big decisions about their lives.
It won't be perfect nor easy all the time but stay strong on the path.
    Let's EVOLVE! 🚀

They’re not overly expensive and with a kettlebell and a focus on callisthenics (body weight exercises) you’ll see a massive difference. Once you start to get into a regular exercise routine then you’ll find yourself wanting to eat better to maximise your exercise gains.

If any young man reads this comment, let me just tell you that drinking on a weekly basis is gonna do you NOTHING good, NOTHING. I must say, I really like that way you put together your video presentations. A lot of videos I watch are unstructured (which is fine, still good information) but you have a very organized and structured way which is easy to follow along with. Thanks and keep it up!

Hi Jack - I read that Allan Carr book last year too, haven't wanted to drink a drop of alcohol since, for anyone else who isn't benefiting from drinking. The book is really solid.

Wow Jack you really hit the nail there for me as an explanation for p*rn use. “Youre using it to medicate the life you hate “ right now im about 3 weeks free from p*rn using easyway to quit (rewrite of alan carr by Fraser Patterson). But I was still scared that i might fall back into using but you just made it clear to me that i dont have to anymore because in 3 weeks ive noticed so much more generall happiness amd confidence and energy. Honestly thanks mate youre an absolute legend💪💪

I had to subscribe right away bro. I’ve only seen a few of your videos so far but man I was like, I love this man! 🤙😂
I’ve been on a journey myself!
My big problem was weed though, not alcohol
Never got into any hard drugs at least, I was able to give up alcohol and cigarettes pretty easily
But weed was a real problem for me
Feels good to no longer need it
I’ve gotten super in shape and I can definitely attest to everything you’ve said about getting really fit and loving it
It’s unreal what you can do when you set your mind to changing and actually take it into action

I think it's good to go out and party 18-21 because I noticed the mates who didn't get that out of their system are now trying to make up for those missed experiences 30+ and it's not good. First of all, if you don't party when young you can't make it up later, it's just not the same. Also most people have moved on at 30+ and having a sort of mid life crisis because you didn't get it out of your system can really derail your life later. Also I find the guys who didn't do the partying phase tend to be more boring and awkward as they've just worked their 9-5 and been a good boy and don't have exciting experiences to build on. That being said it does need to stop by mid 20's or it ends up being a problem. doesn't mean no get togethers or new year eve partys but it's time to move on.

great video man...as a 45 year old i recommend men give up alcohol the sooner the better... its a terrible road to go down and you will have to quit at some point anyway..
