Never seen a dropdown bed in a conversion. Amazing. It feels like it doubles the living space with that huge living room surrounded by windows. I’d opt for a bathroom instead of 2 kitchen counters but otherwise amazing.

I would also have opted for a hot water option. Even if she has no problem showering with cold water (and she probably showers mostly at the gym, I would guess), I doubt her pets enjoy being washed in cold water. Perhaps she only uses it go rinse a little mud or beach sand off their feet and takes them to a groomer for regular baths.

This is amazing. I'm going to take inspiration with the following modifications: lower the fridge enough to have a pull out surface on top of it and place the hidden toilet to the other side of the counter so it can open in the doorway adding a collapseble squared bucket to serve as hidden shower floor, a trail on the ceiling for a shower curtain and a hook for the water coming from the sink so I can have the option of an indoor shower/toiler with privacy using the doorway space that usually has no other function.

I've watched a lot of these van videos, and by far, this is the best layout I have ever seen. Fantastic use of space. Only thing that's lacking is a shower. Perhaps one could be devised in the walkway by the Nature's Head, but then again, maybe she has some other way to shower and doesn't need this.

Love this set up with the upper bed! Personally I'd forego the large counter, add a shower stall & also an awning on the side of the van.

This is almost a perfect build for me. The 2 things I personally would change is the extra kitchen space would be turned into a shower with the toilet hidden away always and never having to be inside the shower yet it is but hidden. The 2nd would be is to get a apartment size refrigerator or have 2 which the 2nd could be where she had her toilet at.

Really like the drop down bed & build. Except for not having hot water especially after you said you like to cook. I love to cook & detest heating water for dishes which I'm doing at this present time . Hot water tank is going out..

That bed is just the best and the living room is fab! Loving the spaciousness of this van .. also rising the fridge was very smart … in low fridges things often get missed and end up going of.

when planning my van conversion design i really wanted to do an elevating bed because i thought it was probably the most space and time efficient option but never saw it in anyone else van conversion so i assumed it was impossible or impractical and im so incredibly grateful that you have shared this video with the exact type of bed that i wanted. This is my fav van conversion by far, the fridge yes.....some people don't mind having fridge on floor 🤐 well I love that you put fridge midway it does makes life easier 😄 especially when you wake up in the middle of the night and your thirsty... counter tops yes so agree more is better...... Question how do plants survive which plants Love van life and does Miss Kitty Kat chew, I have this problem...but because I love my cats Chloe I don't get mad at her...thanks for sharing amazing video ♥️

The Floorplan is not to my taste, but I like your drop-down bed...so practical. I like a full-time bed too. For me, hanging space is important because I like 👗 dresses. So nice how you took your Fur-babies in consideration when converting your van.

That bed design is almost exactly what I have in mind for my current build project, except bottom bunk will be one of those 3 piece sliding / folding contraptions..
Now to figure out how to do it without the happijac.
