Good video but how do you change the triad back to it's proper state in the new views?
Slightly more difficult.
Your best bet is to use the Move/Copy (Insert > Features > Move/Copy) command to mate your 'Bottom' of the part coincident to the 'Top Plane' and then try mating the side of the part to the 'Front' or 'Right' Plane
Thanks for your reply..I'll give it a go..
It must be great to be an Elite solidworks user haa? Excellent tutorial, Thanks
Ok not the best but it helped. You need to say your clicking or holding down keys when your doing this process.
how to did you change the orientation from this part 2:26 ? what did press Sir?
Thank you
go to options > settings > view > set "arrow keys" to 90 degrees. once your viewing normal, if it's off by 90 degrees use the keyboard arrows to rotate 90 degrees. Press 'ALT' plus 'arrow key' to roll the view
@@Dan-xb4pu THANK YOU
ummm that normal-to thing didn't really work.
if you want to make better tutorials, i'd suggest explaining a bit as to why certain things work/help.
nice explanation not!
