I wish I could give you a hug because I've been looking for an easy fix like your second one for days, my man you've made my day and I only finished breakfast, many many thanks!

Ohmygoodness! Thank you so much! You just saved me! I put a part wrong into an assembly I was working on for class (I was too far in to fix it before I noticed), so I made the entire assembly backwards in order to stop myself from losing points anywhere else, but then I had to do an isometric view in a 2D drawing and everything was in the wrong place, and you couldn't see the parts you had to see! I thought I was going to have to do the entire project over again!!

Thanks for that! I have used body move and rotate up to now for imported models (for the last 10 years!) but I will use your first method from now on.

Thank you so much! My book was not prepared for me to model my model upside down!

Note that this will not actually flip the model!! This will only change the axis orientation in the space bar menu.

Amazing solution. Many drawings that I work with are bent in the wrong direction, and our suppliers put the beautiful side of the metal on the wrong side because of it.
I'd just like to point out that this method will allow you to reverse a part upside down, but will not reverse the bend directions of an already existing flat pattern, so don't get caught. If you are trying to export flat pattern drawings of your models, start by following this video, and then complete your transformation with this:

What about re-orienting the model by pressing and holding the right mouse button on the geometry ? It is easy way i guess ...
