When we started using Yo-Zuri Mag Darters a couple of years ago we quickly realized that they catch fish! Not just Snook and Tarpon.....they are deadly on virtually all the species we fish for here including: Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado, Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, Sierra Mackerel, Horse-eye Jack, Rock Snapper, Blue Trevalle, and more!
I’ve owned this bait for a while and never quite understood the intricacies of it. Very informative video down to the most crucial details of this specific bait, thank you very much. Yo Zuri makes 90% of my most productive Striper baits, and those hooks are NEVER gonna bend. Really good tip about fishing this bait against the current and putting it on a clip or a split ring. Love this lure, it is hands down my go to. I will say however about the treble hooks not needed replacement, I fish for jack crevalles and they have absolutely destroyed these hooks after catching so many of them. They are still sharp and still catch, but they are bent all over the place.
What are the Clips(clip you attach from line to lure) you use 9/10 times for your lures? i know that sometimes you may not want to use the clip but just thought to ask. Also because if i am wondering someone else may also be wondering.

Other than the lip what is the difference between this mag darter and hydro minnow
The hydro minnow is a shallow running lure. You can fish the darter in much deeper water and the action of the darter is more erratic.
