Thanks for making this video; it helps a lot for me, like beginners, to save money on the store while purchasing the lures, as now I have ambitious Angler trust with the seal.
You're very welcome! Always glad to help. I hope you have good luck if and when you decide to purchase any lure and try it. If you need any help, let me know. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🙂
Wow the striped bass love these fishing lures! Both colors / sizes did really well for fishing striped bass in the right conditions! Nice 👏👏 #bestbasslures #stripedbassfishing #bestfishinglures
Thanks for watching! You know it's a great feeling after purchasing a lure that will work! Now they will be part of my lure Arsenal as I continue to build it! 😁🎣😎
I think it’s worth mentioning that in Canada you have to fish with single hooks and crimp the barbs when targeting striped bass. Of course correct me if I’m wrong but that was the guidance I was given when fishing up there
Thanks for watching! Yessir! That is correct. I will ensure as to why I swap my hooks in future videos so folks will know that it is to abide by regulations here. Thanks for pointing this out sir! Unfortunately and sadly, not everyone abides by the rules but I do my part. 🤜🤛🎣
Brody!! Another great video, brother! I didn't know you crimped the barbs down on those single hooks... Makes what you are doing even more challenging! Is that a regulation there? Also, is there a reason why you started with the black lure in lower light, before switching to the bone colored one in more light? Glad you didn't slip on those rocks brother! I'm sure I would have fallen haha! Great video, and like always, tons of awesome catches & action! I give this video the Kevin Rapkoch Fishing Seal of Approval! 😂😂✌️🎣
Hey Kev! Yeah, so as far as our regulations go, all our hooks for stripers have to be single, and barbless on our lures. For chunk baiting, they have to be barbless CIRCLE hooks as well. As far as the lure colors. It's best to throw blacks, purples, dark blues, dark greys at low light/dark as the stripers can see darker colors better at night. They basically see the silhouette of a darker lure moving at night better which is just as effective as day time lures. Versus the day, it's more about the flashier bright colored lures since the sun is up in the sky (you can get more creative!). There are a few exceptions though and I may do a video on this in the future! Hahahah I feel like i Just received an award, thanks for the seal of approval dude! Thanks for watching and commenting as always my friend! Looking forward to your next video in your bass series! 🤜🤛🎣😎
Awesome video! Yo-zuri makes great lures. My favorites are the 6" SP Minnows in bone color for the day and purple for when it's still dark out.
Thanks for watching Rafi! Yes I have to agree on that lure selection and color as well! Great choice! 🤜🤛😎🎣
Those were some beautiful striped bass. Great video! Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Thanks for watching and commenting! The stripers are definitely a beautiful fish, so lucky to have them as our premier sportfish in these regions! 😀🎣🐟

Great question about the different fishing lure colors with different lighting!
