Not my favourite episode, thrawn needs to be more menacing and not overtly dependent on nightsisters. Sabine has not been written well and still hasnt confided in ezra. More tension needed with characters dangerous situations, action scenes didnt have any real impact to the plot going forward. After three great episodes, this was a letdown.
I thought it was great honestly. Sabine is the only character that really hasn’t been so exceptional. Everyone else has been. I still like her but she has yet to really have like a real moment.
I WANNA SEE ALL THOSE OTHER ANAKIN RECORDINGS SO BAD… Also, I’ve been shipping Sabine and Shin from the beginning of the Ahsoka show, cause It’s way more interesting than Sabine and Ezra, whom I also didn’t feel anything romantic between anyway.
I think you guys will appreciate this (if you read this comment). Dave answered Kailyn's question from Ep 6 (on decomposition i.e. where did the meat go) in this episode with Star wars in-universe science. Go to 19:28 in ep 7 (Ahsoka and Huyang hiding on whale carcass) and you will see tiny shrimp looking creatures outside the cockpit window in the whale grave yard. FYI shrimp do eat dead whale meat in the real world. I just found you guys but you have vaulted to the top of my list for best youtube star wars reaction channels. You guys are insightful and intelligent with great sensitivities - I really enjoyed your Ahsoka rxns.
Reach is everything in broadsword like fighting. She effectively nullified that advantage by moving in close while fighting. As a fan of historical martial arts, I loved that little detail😍
What an episode. Still think the relationship between Ahsoka and Huyang is incredible, i love it. One of my favorite parts of the show Also big brain move by Thrawn... he was like yo, this is Anakin's padawan. Let her cook because there's no way we can know wtf she'll do because he was unpredictable I also feel like Baylan was sort of proud to see Ahsoka survived and proud that she got the better of him in that duel
Great episode.I think there are two main questions that need to be adresed ¿What is Baylin Skoll really up to (he is not just a mercenary)? ¿Why Thrawn is so eager to pick his stuff and leave as son as posible? i think both questions are related. Considering that is just one episode left i just can imagine that the plot thikens.... olny to be continued in a second season.
The more I see Baylan, the more I feel like his character would have been a focus of next season. Which could mean Ezra, at least, doesn’t escape this galaxy! He is so interesting and could have been his own spin off show! I hope they keep the character, find a great casting choice and that fans can be gracious enough to accept the change while honoring what a tremendous job Ray did in establishing him!
I enjoy watching y'alls reaction the most because I get both the knowledge/nerdy from Eric and the emotions from Kailyn, not saying Eric doesn't get emotional, but you get my point. This episode was amazing. It answers questions bit still leaves so many unanswered. It also hits the emotions...plus an epic light saber duel and a force using duel without a saber. Wow. Can we just appreciate Eman Esfandi has molded himself into Ezra Bridger so flawlessly? Baylan once again continues to his mysterious plans...so epicurean. Shin's hesitation and emotion at Ahsoka's gesture. C-3PO's appearance was indeed an emotional surprise. So much goodness in this episode. What I want is Baylan to find Dai Bendu. It would be kind of hardcore to see Thrawn figure out that once again this figure appears to foil his plans. I think the Night Sisters are using Thrawn...the series let's us think Thrawn is using them. Just my thoughts. As always, may the force be with you.
I mean, Baylan hasn't really been *hiding* his plans... its just been provided in pieces. Baylan sees history as a never-ending repeating cycle - he wishes to find a way to end that. He believes the best way to do that is to give the galaxy "a beginning" or, more directly, a *new* beginning. He believes that whatever the power is on Peridea that calls to him will allow him to do this. The Thrawn mission was only an excuse to hitch a ride. Baylan cares neither for Thrawn or the New Republic - he probably is figuring that whatever he unleashes on the galaxy to reset it will clear both from the board for him. "One must destroy in order to create" - Baylan will have no qualms with burning the current galaxy to the ground to forge his new one. Baylan almost certainly wanted Shin along for this quest, but her desire for immediate power and glory conflicts with his missions, so he set her free to pursure her ambitions.
I think that Shin could go on 2 routes. a) wandering around and finding "the thing" that Baylan searches before him b) watching Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra from far away and eventually help them. (maybe after another mmeting with Thrawn) And of course there is a total different Feloni way that I missed 🤠
I think Baylan's gonna find what he's looking for next episode and it ain't gonna be good. I hate to say this, cause I've been loving him and it's a terrible loss, but I have a feeling that inadvertently, in regards to the writing and Ray Stevenson's death, Baylan not being in future Star Wars will be easily explainable because of what he encounters. I don't think they will recast.
The movie can't come soon enough! Definitely different experience not having to wait week to week to see a story flesh out (or Disney releases all eps in one go, which will never happen haha) Pretty awesome that Thrawn already achieved his objective of buying time simply by giving Sabine what she wanted (thus putting all his variables as far as away from his ship as possible). Also I think the reason they're delaying Sabine telling the truth to Ezra is for Baylan or Thrawn to use it against them later on...
It was kind of sad when the episode ended, not because the episode was bad. But like you say. It feels like it ended before anything was resolved. It feels like it ends too soon. Also, there is the realization that with only one episode left there just isn't going to be enough time to answer any of the questions we have had all season. That means we are going to have to wait years for any answers to our questions. Such as: - Baylan's arc - Baylan and Shin's history, - More about the Night Sisters, there history and powers/ weapons - What are the Night Troopers - Will Ezra be mad about Sabine letting Thrawn escape the galaxy - More about the new galaxy, and the planet Peridia And all the obvious questions probably will get some sort of answer, like: Will Thrawn escape? Will Ezra and the Rebels escape? What will happen to Shin?
It was epic when Ezra stopped Shin's lightsaber. I do feel that he was a little over cocky about his powers, when he didn't accept his own lightsaber back, from Sabine. I at least expected him to display some massive force powers, considering the setup. But I don't feel that he displayed any powers greater than the powers he had already used in Rebels.
I'm sure you have seen my episode opinions over the many episodes.. The show every episode has been a 9 out of 10 But this episode I give a 5 out of 10 Not good not bad
The power he is drawn to will consume Baylan and completely screw everybody’s plans. Thrawn and Ohsaka’s team will have to join against that power to save both galaxies.
Neither Ahsoka or Thrawn know anything about Baylan's real reason for being on this planet. I think that's going to be a VERY nasty surprise for both of them...
what did you think of this episode of ahsoka?? 😍 let's talk about it!

I really enjoyed this episode Ezra not needing a lightsaber to fight another force user, Trawn's intelligent tactics. It was just really fun!😊

Where Ahsoka kept her distance with a two-handed single sword style before, now she wields her two swords and works in close on the attack.
good thought!

we loved it 🎉🎉
They made Ezra look just like the picture of his dad in Rebels
yeah a little resemblance for sure!
Ezra stopped Shin’s blade just like Vader and Reva. Ahsoka fought without a weapon just like Obi Wan/Vader.
🔥
he was great!
Only characters we've seen do that are Rey, kylo, vader, and yoda (in clone wars episode 1)
David Tennant as Huyang is just perfect casting. It was a nice cameo in Clone Wars but here he’s an amazing addition to the team.
Loved it so much. Great reaction guys.
thanks for watching with us 🤍

Really epic. The title is what Baylan said in the last episode but....
so epic
Here's a thought, Sabine talking in the Rebels epilogue is actually her catching Ezra up to speed that happened off screen in this episode.
ooh interesting theory!

Great reaction! It is very interesting to see your reaction to the films Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope and others. These are cool classic movies 👍🔥
Thanks K & E! Love this show! It will be a classic in years to come!

hmmm... perhaps this will happen!
Well , I'm worried about Ashoka series episode 8 finale 😬😬😬😬
I really don't think the whole group is leaving the far away galaxy
It feels like a Star Wars cover band.
disagreed. it is the legacy of george lucas in true and natural form 👍
@@nerdymarriedcouple I could use some Zahn and Kasden legacy any time now .
“Live or die” is “Do or do not.” There is no try
