Hello! You are simply great! I followed your tutorial step by step and I did it in less than an hour! Just one question. I exported the page curl as a .png file, then I imported it on Scribus, but it has a VERY low definition. It is blurred. I tried to improve pixels directly with Inkscape, then I tried also to improve definition with GIMP, but the results are REALLY poor. What can I do? Where is my mistake?
Nick.....I dont know which idiots clicked thumbs down..... you give THE BEST turorials man. You know exactly what youre doing and give us clean, concise information with helpful instructions along the way. Ive tried to find help from other videos but alot of them are annoying stuttering twats that just do things without explaining and i inevitably stop watching and search for one of yours. I really didnt need to bag others other to tell you that i appreciate your tutorials but i did .... im in a shitty mood coz i keep having clitches with inkscape and my work doesnt save even though i AM saving every five minutes. Alot of the features that i see you use dont work and i have updated to 94.2 of 92.4 or whatever......... im running windows 10 🙄. i had better luck with the version of inkscape i had before but i tried to change to dark theme from another of your videos and that fucked the whole show. Do you have any pointers to help me out..... seriously ive spent two hours watching a ten minute video following STEP BY STEP and rewinding and trying to get the same results but its just not playing the game......FRUSTRATIIIING!!!
Terrific effect! If you delete the rectangle after creating the curl, corner and shadow, it appears that you have cut and peeled up the page, which you can use on anything. b d
I created a FB banner using this idea but I have a problem. Where the page flips I added some words and the store's logo, in inkscape it looks fine but when I export the photo the text and the logo look blurred. I don't know what to do. Please help.
