Great video. If you're going to use flexzilla, use the air hose. Also, double clamp and keep the on/off switch out of the box because the bleach fumes will corrode the crap out of it .....all from experience. Good job!
@@TheGravyguneither is fine. I personally use the 1/2 inch. If you're shooting roofs from a ladder the 5.5 everflow will usually work but there may be instances where it just won't reach so therefore I would recommend a 7 gpm. I've used all brands but I've stuck with Everflow because they all end up failing and Everflow is cheap enough to have a backup
I personally favor 5/8 since it is easier to work with and attach the reel that i bought. and i feel like it pulls better than a half inch. and depends if you are on the roof or on ground, if you are going on the roof 5.5 12v works great! shoots up to 30 ft @@TheGravygun
great video, how many hours will the pump run at full power before battery needs a charge. A deep cycle battery would be best for this application as they can be fully drained and wont die. would like a demo next.
Same boat borther! Why do my 12v pumps keep dying out on me! I have no money left and don't know how to fix them. What could be killing my pumos?? Thanks in advance brother!👊
What J-Rod setup is that? My 4 gallon a minute one for my pressure washer does not work good on my 12 V 5.5 two of them work OK and the other two don’t work at all so what was the number set up do you have?
Great video! What quick connect connecter did you use in softwash gun to connect the jrod to? I have the same gun but just missing this piece. Please add link to part.. thanks
So with the j rod, if you have it on the rinse attachment it won’t pull chem? So you don’t have to shut the proportioner off? Or you still do? Thanks great setup going to start working on mine
I can see how that part would be confusing, he explains how the tips work when attached to pressure washer when down streaming. That doesn’t apply to soft wash system
So, as someone who is getting ready to build a similar rig, may I ask which is and which isn't relevant or necessary if only cleaning concrete? I understand that a good pressure washer, water tank, trailer, surface cleaner, and hoses are absolutely necessary, but do I need the extra chemical tank, pump, battery, and proportioner? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
If you are only doing driveways then no, but I highly suggest doing a softwash system, it will save you in the long run if a customer wants their house washed. And it will help spray the SH on the driveway when u are done surface cleaning
You can use almost any 12v battery. You'd be better off using a marine battery for to the draw requirements. Mounting is basic as well. You can strap it or even buy a battery tray and mount that.
Awesome,I saw you was giving one away but from a video from two weeks ago so I though you already did lol, hopefully I get lucky,I like it a lot ,lucky the guy who gets it,nice of you helping people out ,god bless .
Hey Kurt, I"ve been watching some of your videos , great information. Thank you. Question: what do you find to be the best form of marketing when first starting your business with zero customers? I've been using signs and door hangers with some success. I have a website and tried FB ads but really didn't find any success there. I hear people swear by it for local businesses and Google is just to slow and expensive at this stage. What forms of marketing worked for you in the beginning?
How do you figure under $500??? Battery $100 (no toolbox) Pump $150 Chem hose $250 (no reel) Spray gun n/ $50 (no j rod) Water tank $200 Hose and fittings for pump, drop stick etx.. $50 That's $800 What am I missing?

Can I ask why the air hose? Does it have a easier connector? Or just higher flow rate or something?

Whats the distance, your getting on the stream?
Why is the pump in the same box as battery?
Are you using 3/4" to 1" for plumbing?
So you run chemical through your garden hose and it doesn’t damage anything?
Big thanksbro,I'm building one myself.
Love the nozzle head pocket clip.
Really cool
Fantastic video. Just the setup I’m planning for and going to be building on my trailer. Very cost efficient but also a great setup man🤙🏼🙏🤞🏼🦾🔥
Very neat work. Can you tell me about the trailer? if i could get the brand model size i could look it up. thanks
Thanks , im just about to start the pressure washer journey.

Where did you get the proportioner?
Great video bro. I have a question. What size of hose are you using?
Thank you jacob! I’m using a 5/8 flexzilla 250ft
Where did you get the 250' of flexzilla hose from?

I wanna copy this exact same set up is there maybe a way you can tell me where i can find that exact trailer at?

Thanks for the comment man! Much appreciated
Im new to this, so what size quick connects and other fittings did you use for this gun you? Can you provide amazon link to them?
So when I switch the J Rod to rinse nozzle does it still pull chemical thru the proportioner?
How did you build your proportioner for? Where did you buy it?
from it’s from cigar city soft wash
Use a Car battery That's how everyone else does it,? Everyone ive watched use a deep cycle marine battery , so car you use a car battery

I believe it’s a 3/8 quick connect!
What fittings did you buy for the soft wash gun? Just got it and the fittings I have don’t fit
Is that a filter between your tank of water and proportioner hosed in?
Great video! Very helpful!

How many times would I need to refill 10 gallon tank for 3k SFT home? Don’t have a truck so need something that I can get in my car
Depends your mix but I would assume a few times

Not at all! Once you know your surfaces and what percentage to use. It’s like clock work
What kind of surfactant do you use?
Keep recording sub right here
Will do! Thanks!
Hey man can you send the link for the switch you have on your pump?
so you can apply straight SH then switch your pick up over to water to rinse?
Yes
Great information. Thanks for sharing
Glad it was helpful!
Is the pump velcro-ed to the bottom of the tool box or does it stay in place? Thanks bud!!
stays in place!
What battery would you recommend for the pump
And how is it secured in the box

Can you use only the pump + hose for house washing or do you also need the pressure washer?
Pump and hose for house washing only since it doesn't produce high pressure, you don't want to use high pressure on houses
is that 1/2 inch hose?

Cigar city softwash
what size is your buffer tank and surfactant tank?
Buffer tank is 100 gallons and surfactant tank is 16 gallons and SH tank is 50
